*ANOTHER 5 STAR RATING HERE!!
Search and Rescue aux lighting is a must, dependability is Job 1. During SAR OP's it's a bad day or night for person(s) needing emergency assistance be it a downed AC, a missing/lost hiker with injuries. This is where the dependability comes into the picture when performing a pre-flight inspection on an AC. Often inspections are perform at night outside of a hanger where a dependable flashlight is a must checking flight surfaces, engine compartment etc. Having a dependable, functional flashlight with a proper light pattern (no dark spots) is key and a tremendous asset. It's yellow making it a cinch to locate if misplace. I own many Streamlight flashlights, headlamps and aux lightning. To date not one Streamlight has failed me. I pack this same Streamlight in my POV and on my person while camping, hunting, walking my four legged friend. This particular lamp is the latest addition to my Streamlight family. I'm very pleased with it's operation, works perfectly just as the other Streamlights I own. It's already been put to the extreme test in an unpleasant environment under harsh conditions. The (Streamlight 68750 Dualie 3AA Dual Beam Flashlight 140 lumen spot beam and 140 lumen downward beam is reasonably price, having a well constructed rugged exterior with easy to locate functional switches during low light/dark conditions, is water resistant with a light weight tough polymer body and very easy to locate by it's bright safety yellow color. The properly sized hinged clasp is very handy when attaching to a shirt/jacket pocket or belt for hands free operation. Light output isn't overly bright but don't let that hinder you in purchasing one of these great overall lamps. Those that are familiar with dependable handheld lighting know this model is perfect for close up inspection of equipment, lighting a confined area, handy to grab out of a kitchen drawer for emergency lighting around the house during a power outage, even packing one in your emergency kit for the auto is a must. Works great at night going for a stroll walking Fido. Effective at lighting a dimly lit pathway with ease. I generally carry 2-3 flashlights at night, typically a high lumen blinding lamp, another in the 600-800 lumen range and the one in this review. Works great when walking/hiking, I'll switch both lamps on then secure it to my jacket pocket or vest using the long and wide hinged clasp so the wider beam shines outward and tight beam shoots straight down, making it highly effective covering such a large area directly in front and outward of your feet and wider pattern with coverage close to 180 degrees outward. Having both lamps on, directed down and outward is very effective while walking easily seen by in-coming traffic at the same time not overly bright that it blinds a motorist. I highly recommend this lamp with it's many uses! Lt JGF USAF Aux. Emergency Services/Air Search and Rescue

Great Light
This is a great overall light. I would definitely recommend. The light has two functions and a switch for each. The standard light is bright and works great in a dark backyard. The area light is perfect for inside a dark room or anywhere you might need a wide light. Everyone needs a couple of these.

The best design and quality; highly recommend!
I’ve been using this flashlight a lot over the past 5-6 months, and it’s super good, for multiple purposes. The balance point between offering intense brightness and using ordinary batteries that last a long time is just right with this light. Hallelujah! It’s very bright, uses easy and ergonomic one-click on/off, and the forward light beam is usefully well-balanced between long focus and some wide illumination. At the same time, the regular alkaline batteries are lasting a longer time than any other flashlight I’ve used that’s equally bright, and almost all less bright ones I have. It doesn’t overheat, either. There are separate batteries for the forward light, which takes 2 AA’s, and 1 AA battery for the side light. That saves batteries too. I use the side light a lot more than I thought I would. The wider focus of the side light’s beam means it works well as a lantern in a dark room or tent, and it’s excellent for illuminating the ground by your feet when you’re dog-walking or tramping down stairs in a power outage. You can use the two lights together or separately. The bright yellow plastic casing means I don’t lose this flashlight. It is very comfortable to hold, doesn’t roll around, has a super great clip, and stashes well in a big pocket/purse. I don’t like plastic very much, but this light’s sturdy plastic is actually aesthetically pleasing to hold, and the lighter than metal weight keeps the balance in the hand very comfortable, especially in longer usages. It’s perfect for dog-walking, camping, finding your way in the dark or finding those teeny invisible things dropped on the floor, and is reliable as a super sturdy, indestructible extreme emergency light. I don’t usually rave about flashlights, but I am truly loving this Dualie light for its super high quality, sturdy build, well-thought out design, reliability in extreme situations, and especially the perfect balance between long regular battery life and excellent brightness. Not to mention it’s an American company. You know how great you feel when you get a really top notch and reliable product? And you want to tell your friends about it? And you appreciate the company that made it? That’s how I feel about this flashlight. Worth every penny.

Best flashlight ever.
The. Best. Flashlight. Ever. Made. I've always been fascinated with flashlights. Some may say obsessed, but I say perfection is always a noble quest. I've tried all sorts of flashlights and this one really has the most utility for the money. There are no modes. Just on and off. No mad button pushing or fumbling around trying to stop the SOS flash so you can see. In the rain. While changing a tire. I digress. This bad boy has two modes. On and off. On is powerful and bright. Off is not. No in-betweens. No ons then offs then ons then offs. Just ons and offs. It takes AA batteries. Which are easy to find. No special charger needed. No fancy-schmancy battery that costs more than the light. It is bright, flourescent yellow. It is hard to lose, even in a camper. It's got a lanyard loop for a lanyard if it's your first sleep away camp, too. You could put badges on the lanyard with the flashlight. Wait. It isn't a lanyard loop at all, it's a big, sturdy, alligator clip with teeth like this that hold it in your pocket like a champ. A frikkin champion, man. Just rechecked and it's got BOTH the lanyard loop for sleepaway camp badges and the integrated, spring-loaded clip. Awesome. Did I mention real, actual water resistance? No rice required, pal. Also, it is rugged and sturdy which means it is ok if you drop it a few times like a careless person. And oh yeah, it has two LEDs. Each with it's own on and off switch, to minimize confusion as mentioned earlier. Why two? One is aimed forward, like a normal tube flashlight. The other points down. At your feet. So you don't trip, or blind other people like an inconsiderate people blinding, idiot-moron who has never before been in the dark. You may occasionally blind yourself, however, as you grow used to this small, useful innovation. So, quick recap-Strong lights, simple controls, common battery, water proof and an innovative design. Buy two because someone will steal the first one.

Nice, sturdy but not easy to find buttons
I have peripheral neuropothy, so my hands are pretty numb most of the time, so I cannot really blame the flashlight. Streamlight has, and probably always will be a quality light, and this is no exception. The main light is plenty bright for me, and not landing-light over-bright like lots of lights seem to be these days. The walk light is cool....it really does help illuminate the walkway. My only issue with this light is I have trouble finding the on buttons at night in pitch black situations. I cannot easily distinguish the feel of them on the surface, so it's tough finding them. Turning it off is no problem, since the light itself can show the buttons from the reflected light. A very nice light...probably outlive me, provided I never use Dura__ll batteries.

Great all-around illumination.
Great flashlight. Main light reaches 150 meters no problem, and also has flash mode with a half-press on the button. Spot mode illuminates about a 1.5 meter circle from waist level, provides even, bright illumination for spot checking things. Spring-loaded clip (with serrated inner surface) allows you to easily hang it from a shirt pocket and give you hands-free illumination. Runs on 3 ea. AA batteries, so not hard to maintain. With LED bulbs, expect a long time of good use from this. Yes, I would definitely buy this again.
