IRC Rim Strips - 17"/--

I put this into my rear tire (Dr650) and so far, everything seems perfect. Just start by lining up the little hole for the valve stem, and go from there. I only have 1000 or so miles on the tire for now, so it hasn't really been tested much, but so far, it doesn't have any issues. I didn't really Need one of these, my old one seemed fine, but I tend to change them every other tire change. It's just for my own peace of mind, and I have never had any issues. I also bought a larger size for the front tire, but since my front still has a few K's left, I haven't had a chance to use it yet.I have no complaints about this, except the price. I went with IRC rim strips, and Heavy duty Tubes this time around. Tubes were same price as any other heavy duty quality tube. I was in a hurry for this rim strip, so I just ordered it off of here. Ideally, I would have ordered it somewhere else that had free shipping, but I needed it quickly, which Amazon is great at!In another 10k, I will most likely switch to a different brand, just so I have more kinds to compare things to. So far though, these Rim Strips are the same, or better quality then any other I have tried. The Heavy Duty IRC tubes are noticeably heavier, which Hopefully means more durable! I definitely don't regret going with IRC products this time around. Great brand name.

These are for my Honda CT90 Trail motorcycle. The bike is a 1976 so I am replacing these, along with new tubes and tires.

So Amazon is asking for me to rate a motorcycle rim strip that I just received for adhesion, durability, and value for my money. As far as adhesion it fits as snugly as it should. Durability? How can I assess that on a brand new purchase that I only installed two days ago? The same for value for money. If the rim strip doesn't rot inside the rim and allow the tube to be destroyed by the spoke nipples before the tire wears out or the tube itself rots, then it will have been a good value for the money. If it doesn't meet either of these two conditions, it was not a good value. My only problem with this purchase was the lackadaisical effort the seller (Bikesnpawn) put into getting the product shipped to me. I ordered two tires, two rim strips, and two tubes all from different suppliers, and I received everything but the rim strip more than a week before I received the rim strip from the seller. There was zero communication from them, and tracking information was lacking. Tracking showed the package had been picked up from the seller on three different days. Glad I'm done with them.
