Well Worth It
The fan makes a huge difference and they really are all day comfortable. I bought these for a large airsoft event (OLCMSS Red Storm East II) in Scranton, PA. They worked really well. Even with the fan off they stay fog free as long as you're moving. With the fan off, they fog when you stand still for extended periods in poorly ventilated areas. But overall their natural anti-fogging properties are superb.

Disappointing Lemons for sale
Revision has really disappointed me here. The first pair that arrived had a malfunctioning fan assembly. The fan would grind against the casing when the goggles moved. I initiated a return, which went smoothly to grab another pair. The second pair that came in has a faulty battery cap. Before this fan goggle, I have purchase their normal desert locust goggle for $80 if I remember correctly. They were super comfortable and provided a very good field of vision. The problem is that I sweat like crazy out of my eye-sockets for some strange reason. I would fog up every lens I came across. I bought the previous pair because I love the rubber seal as opposed to the foam on most other goggles. So, I upgraded to these for an extra $90.Let me make this clear: If I am paying $170, I'm expecting a pair of goggles worth $170. I don't know if the quality control guy is sleeping on the job over there, but I'm a bit pissed off at this point. I am debating initiating another return, but I need this pair for training within the next week and cannot risk not having a non-fogging pair of goggles. They function, but the water resistance properties have been compromised because the battery cap won't seat properly. The second thing being, in order to increase the non-fogging capability of these (and similar type goggles) in non-desert environments, you can pick out the foam around the bottom for better airflow. Obviously that voids the warranty but works wonders for anti-fog. So now I am stuck: do I risk a return this close to the training deadline, or do I pick out the foam now and risk the chance of a short because of the faulty cap during one misty evening later on? Either way, Revision has fallen short on their Quality control, and I'm going to pay the price.I will update with a photo later on.

While they did prevent fogging momentarily, they did eventually fog up. I used the for Airsoft when it was 94 degrees outside. But still that is no excuse. The cost of these goggles doesn't seem worth it because they don't completely eliminate fogging.

Great for Paint Ball but...
Great for Paint Ball or other similar hunting sports, but I purchased them for another purpose. The product is superior in every detail but unfortunately for me they do not excel as dust proof shop goggles. Best to use them for their stated purpose.

Revision Desert Locust Fan Goggles, Black - Essential Kit w/ 2 Lenses 4-0309-0251
"I hated goggles even though they are the only thing that truly kept my eyeballs safe, simply because of fogging. No matter what I tried: Thermal lens, fog spray, fog wipe, etc. nothing worked. These work and are so silent when I first got them I thought they were broke/fan not working! Well it's working and works great. Good job Revision, may have saved some lives with these."

Bad quality control
They worked great for about an hour and then they stopped working.

Stay away from this for that amount of money.
150 dollars and no thermal lense? The fan can't keep up while in 90 degrees and sitting in shade. The frame is made pretty well and is comfortable but the fan is not the end all of whats needed to keep the fog away.

Super Awesome
Get what you pay for. Haven't had them fog yet, but it isn't summer so I guess the true test will be when it is 30 out and 95 percent humidity. Tested them in the shower. Had the room filled with steam, and wore them. even kept on splashing water all over head and put them back on, they didn't fog. The are quite comfortable. Ambient noises drown out the sound of the fan. When it is dead quiet you can hear it but it is only a very slight buzz. All in all I am very very impressed.

Battery life is perfect for a day of play
Used to play airsoft. This product is quality and the price is reasonable. Dependable product with proven military reliability. Fan noise is reasonably low. Battery life is perfect for a day of play. Don't buy 5 different types of Chinese goggles. Buy these once and be done with it.

effective for foggers
I fog goggles very easily and the fan on these revision goggles keep my goggles fog free. They are a great fit for me as I don't really feel them on my face while wearing them in a game. I highly recommend these if you tend to fog up your goggles
