No, no charger. The battery is REPLACED each time it expires. NO METERS are rechargeable.

This ex430a has only one selector dial setting for voltage (v) so how do you let it know whether you want to measure dc volts or ac volts?

It auto detects whether it’s DC or AC voltage You can also use the Select button to toggle between AC and DC.
