C&S Hot Pepper Delight Log 32 oz

I used the suet version of this pepper dough in my hanging feeder and it finally kept the squirrels away. Then I bought this log to replace my large seed feeder and unfortunately it came with a large crack and the whole thing fell apart when I opened it. Maybe if it stays in one piece you will enjoy it but it should be protected better from damage. I ended up cutting it into pieces and putting it in my suet feeder but for the price it wasn't worth it. It's also fairly small.

dislike because the birds will not eat it.

The birds love these. I can hang one and it will disappear in a day. So it's A little on the expensive side to use constantly. But I am willing to splurge for an occasional treat.

I have been trying to buy a hanging seeded log with pepper. The picture I looked at before ordering seemed to present the right configuration but when it arrived it did not meet my expectations

Usually when we put suet out our birds will flock to it and devour it within days. This one has been up for over a month and gets very little action from the birds.

Read the description carefully. no seeds, only suet - it doesn't last long at all, unlike the hot pepper with seeds.

I have had a few squirrels at my bird feeders lately, the hot pepper feed keeps the squirrels away because they don't like it. The birds will still enjoy it.
