I always struggle with my nails breaking and have never had healthy nails, I decided to get this as it was getting to expensive to have them done professionally and it works amazing! Leaves my nails strong and healthy by giving it protection. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone who is considering buying it! Easy to apply and looks great! Since discovering Essence peel off gel in Wilko I had been doing my nails at home with UV gel and a lamp. A peel off gel, whilst the nail colour does not last quite as long, it is easy to remove so you can easily change colours. However this was discontinued though I did find a stockist when in Majorca! Once that ran out I was back to the age old problem of removal which was wrecking my nails so I went back to expensive salon treatments as the experts with the right tools could remove the old varnish with less damage and they used a powder layer to strengthen my nails. After Lockdown and removal my nails were paper thin so I tried dipping powders. Much easier to remove but quite a faff to apply perfectly. The initial kit was quite expensive and though the system was great there is 6 different bottles to use plus the color dipping powder. I needed an electronic file to smooth the dipping powder as my application wasn't that even initially. I didn't really like any of the resulting colors and they were not very shiny but the system did make my nails feel really strong. That is until removal which took ages even with an electronic USB nail drill. I left my nails bare for 6 weeks using lots of strengtheners and oils but as soon as they grew a decent length they flaked. Then I read about Builder Gel on a local salons blog. I looked and was amazed Amazon sold it so after reading about the process in the blurb below I immediately ordered some and some paper nail forms. Using the nail forms to extend your nails is tricky but there are videos on Youtube. I used alone on nails that had reached a good length and it was so easy. Took me a while to get the hang of extending a nail but really pleased and amazed at the outcome. The trick is too make sure your nail form is lined up correctly under you own nail tip and that it looks flat from the side. Don't extend the gel too much or it will take ages to file into place and you don't want to clip any extra off as you may make it split or crack. A good tip when you have painted the gel on is to turn your nail upside down so the gel levels. This is explained on Youtube. You need to prep your nails properly with prep and wipe and then primer, apply the gel, cure, then colour layers, cure, top gel layer, cure, prep and wipe solution to remove residue. On one nail while the gel was wet I applied gem stones all over and then another layer of gel before the final cure. It is easy to add decorative effects which stick to the gel. I've read that you can use with ordinary nail varnish as log as you use a non acetone remover which would melt the extensions so I will probable try that next so I can change colors more often.

A runnier biab, so levels well but can flood easily. I build up thickness in 3 layers so takes a while and still needs abit of refining. Photo is colour peach which still pulls quite pink on brown skin but looks good. About 1mm thick can still see smile line of natural nails. Strong enough to do a small extension with forms but so runny it’s quite hard to shape, flash cure a thin layer of extension then take the form off and shape then add thickness for best result I’ve had so far. Using dehydrator and acid free primer will last around 3 weeks. Heat spike quite intense but you’ll get that with biab.

Goodness only knows why it took so long to discover Builder Gel! I bought the Mylee Pro LED replacement for an old UV lamp I used years ago. I've not done gel nails since Covid, and just got out of the habit. Sadly, I found the colour (French Rose) too sheer, so bought a gel polish to go over it - Bluesky English Rose - beautiful! Topped off with Mylee Base Coat, and after all these years, I have salon perfect nails again. No going back! I also bought the colourless Builder Gel, as I see that as being a huge help to my weak nails in between full manicures. Excellent products! If you can paint nails, you can do this! Just make sure that the lamp is strong enough to cure it. £50 well spent on the Mylee Pro.Edit - I'm returning the colourless gel. It was yellow in the pot - surely not supposed to be like that? I was hoping for a clear addition to protect my nails in between using polish.

Even though I was expecting slightly different result - i was hoping for more colour, I am extremely satisfied with this builder gel.Have been trying to do nails ar home for years and they would never last as long as those done in nail salons…However this one has been on for a week already and no chipping or peeling at all! I am really pleased with it, finally managed to grow my nails with no breakage!Drying time as expected, easy to apply too. Have put on base cote + 3 layers with effect as per attached pictures. Take a note picture made week after application. I am really pleased with this and will be buying other products from mylee to experiment further and add more colour. I like the fact that this can be use in so many ways. Great value for money!

This is overrated 😴The colours are fantastic 👌🏾However, it takes forever to dry totally and the shine does not last. Unless you use a nail vanish on top then use a nail nail vanish remover to generate a shine which then lasts, BUT! then, it does not last long on fingers: it simply peels off both 5-in-1 and the nail vanish sad 😞Strange enough, the toe nails paint stays in place.Unless you plan to paint your finger nails every week with the lustre/shine disappearing days after using your nailvanish.

I have always struggled with gel nails, whether I have them done at a salon or at home i’m lucky to get 10 days from them and removal has always damaged my nails. This gel is thick so you have to be quite precise with the application, but overall I found it lasted really well despite gardening and housework. When I came to remove it I buffed off the top and then steamed them in my remover and they all bubbled off without damage. I will definitely re-buy in other colours and would recommend this to others who need hard wearing gel!

Desperately needed my nails doing and ordered this on prime. Top brand that lasts for weeks and helps my nails to grow strong!

it is a good neutral milky white. Applies well, it is not too thick, and it stays for a long time (8 days now & counting). A drawback for me was that it is a bit too transparent to how I thought a milky white would be. I had to do 3-4 layers of it & it is still streaky at times.

Buenísimo para manicura en casa, estoy encantada, me he comprado de la misma linea el desidratador, la base, el top y un esmalte de color rosa palo como el de la uña, en las fotos llevo tres capas de color y queda precioso y aunque valen un dinero, los botes son grandisimos, cunden un montón y además duran y refuerzan las uñas, algo super importante para mi porque las tengo super finas, como folios.
