They have been very gracious throughout this situation and claim that their defective rate is less than 3%. I have agreed to test out a replacement unit and to leave a positive review if I feel it is warranted. Given the overal positive experience I had with this device before encountering the problem, I am entertaining the notion in order to give them a fair shake and hopefully end up with the amazing unit I had hoped to receive in the beginning.I want to thank Sonyxer for this opportunity. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great USB Hub - Gimmicky looks *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2016* Works as advertised providing 4 USB ports. I didn't perform any speed testing to verify that they provide USB 3.0, but it works without a hitch with 2 wired Xbox 360 controllers and a multimedia keyboard+touchpad combo plugged in.The harmonica design concept is clearly a gimmick and the silver/gray colored plastic part on each side is attached with relatively weak double sided tape. If you want it to stay on it will, but if you want to you can easily pull them off from each side. You're left with a smooth, black, low-profile look without any branding or text on it - see the image I included.PLEASE NOTE: The image I included in my review is after I modified the hub myself by removing two plastic pieces on either side.
