I've had it for while now. It works extremely well on some packages that I don't think it will due to shape, bigger indention of plastic, etc. Then there have been some I expect it open easy but it doesn't work well. Guess some plastics just tougher than others. If you have any problems with it not cutting good or feels like blade must be way too dull to cut... it's likely just that particular plastic package. I've thought mine was dull or damaged and then cut something else later easily. Most of time works great. If you have kids....this will be a magic life saver. I don't have kids and still glad I found it. Also the way the blade is inside...makes it difficult to accidentally cut self. This had the same problem as before. So I got out my box cutter and it did the trick.
