Can you move the branches to make fuller etc? or arrange to personal liking?

Yes, You can arrange the branches to your liking but this is as full as it gets. I added a bird to fill in a bare spot but it’s the perfect size for where I wanted to place it. (Be sure to open the box as soon as you get it because I received the wrong one the first delivery)

can this be placed outdoors in southern climate at a pergola?

The one I purchased was Gorgeous & Lifelike White Cherry Blossom Artificial Tree. It's an artificial tree and NO you can not plant it or place outside. AWESOME indoor artificial tree
