Q: How strong do the magnets stick?

Not strong at all! In fact, there was no stick! The board was not magnetic and I was very disappointed!

Q: Are there holes or spaces on the back to hang the board on screws or "S" hooks?

There are holes in the corners and they send screws but I just used nails to hang it. It is very nice and hangs securely in all four corners

Q: Is the pen tray removable?

It is removable. You can locate it anywhere along the bottom of the board.
