Works great on a 2016 Tahoe 5.3. Big difference. **Q: Would this fit a 2003 gmc sierra 4.8l or no** A: Not sure about that but save your money and buy the k&n replacement **Q: what size is the tubing?** A: Don't remember but the intake on a throttle body is around 76 mm so about 3". Sounds and looks great! Very easy and quick instal. JUST ONE THING. The kit comes with 2 plastic vent fittings that are made of very cheap plastic. I broke one of them with my strong hand while I was snugging them up. I recommend you find a replacement before installation just in case... I found some on Amazon -- Stainless Steel 316 Barb Fitting Coupler/Connector 5/8" Hose ID x 1/4" Male.
