The Fob is now attached to my car keys and maintains a Bluetooth connection to my iPhone until I walk half a block from my house. Up to that distance, the phone can cause the Fob to ring, and the Fob can cause the phone to ring - even if phone ringer is turned off. When I exceed the half-block distance, the phone will beep and give me a message that I am no longer near the Fob. I think the Fob also beeps when the phone moves away from "near". This will help me to avoid leaving either keys or phone behind, and to locate them if "lost". I believe that (with a paid subscription) the phone could tell me the last (or maybe the present) GPS location of the keys. I don't intend to subscribe, however.My order was for two Fobs - one for my keys, one for my wife's keys. Both Fobs arrived together, and both had dead batteries installed in them. It seemed that the units were broken; they could give no indication of life. However, both units worked when I installed new batteries. I would suggest that you order extra batteries when you order the units. You will likely need to swap batteries often because Bluetooth can use a lot of power. I did note also that the phone connection to the Fob requires a power-hungry app to run continuously in the phone. My iphone 8 has worse battery performance than the newest iphones. Using the fobs may nudge me toward a newer phone. Meanwhile, I turn the app off at night. You can also set the Fob to turn off from 10pm to 5am, or other time interval. There is only one button on the Fob - which turns it on - indicated by four upbeat tones - and off (four downbeat tones). Other control is through the app on the phone.I have had these units only a few days, and am still learning how they will perforn.

I have one because I either am losing my keys or my phone on a daily basis. This gadget has been a big time saver in searching for the items. I have the app on my iPhone. I plan on getting another one for a friend who has an android phone because she is always losing her keys or phone as well.

One time my phone fell out of my bag and was underneath my car. No joke, I decided to buy this after i locked my keys in the car and I couldn't find my spare key. So thrilled with it so far. the ringing noise is loud and it also has a GPS tracker. Plus they key fob can make my phone ring. Win Win Would buy again. Simple to set up. Took about 3 minutes to set up to link to phone. The tracker has a loud chirp and was able to hear from 2 rooms a way.

I bought this so i could easily locate my key. It’s really lightweight and small so it could easily fit in my key set. It’s been really helpful, thank you!!

Don’t waste your money the first time I tried to useThis does not work after pairing it I lost my keys and tried to ring to find them an got a message saying mark keys lost and they were right in my bedroom
