Right balance of minerals for the perfect cup of coffee.
I find peace of mind knowing that my coffee water is as pure as it can be. My well water is rich in nutrients, but it leaves lime scale buildup in my kettle. Distilled water is clean but lacks nutritional value. Third Wave Water, however, contains the right balance of minerals for the perfect cup of coffee.

Waste of money. We COULD NOT taste a difference.
We bought this because we saw it on Shark Tank and the sharks said they could taste a difference. Unfortunately, we could NOT tell the difference. We followed the instructions and bought distilled water to use. My husband didn’t tell me that he used this one morning when he made the coffee, in order to see if I noticed a difference, and I did not. We threw the rest of the product out. We wasted hard-earned money on this product as well as on a gallon of distilled water. If I could give this zero stars I would. Sorry, sharks.

Review from a real unpaid person , Never look at the 5 star reviews
Well, thought I would try this since I just bought a new coffee maker and had problems with other clogging even using triple filtered water to fill it and using a descaling liquid which worked until it didn't. Dark roast coffee was still bitter even with new coffee maker. So put a packet of this in the gallon and used it and to our amazement no bitterness, none. Just a great cup of coffee. We are currently using dark roast. But we change it up to some med/dark or medium roast. I bought the dark roast from 3rd Wave Water. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have only used this 5 times with dark roast, don't know how that will be with the other types of roasted coffee and we used pre-ground coffee beans. We use whole beans and grind but not into a powder, and some not. This was made with pre-ground. Hope this helps.

Does the trick for coffee with filtered water.
Very effective at restoring a rich coffee taste. After we switched to using highly filtered water (APEC) for our coffee, the taste was bitter compared to previously (our water was alkaline but had a little too much heavy metal content for daily drinking). This product has the right proportion of minerals to return the coffee to smoothness. Wish it was not so pricey, but it is effective, convenient, and dissolves right away.

I hate that it works!
I saw this on Shark Tank and love my strong black coffee, so I thought it was worth a try. I assumed it wouldn’t make much of a difference and it would just be a one-time purchase. But it really does make the coffee richer and more robust but without bitterness. I’m just using good quality ground dark roast coffee, which I prefer to all the newer roasts in vogue these days, but it still made a huge difference. The drawbacks are of course the cost and the hassle and waste of buying bottles of distilled water to add these minerals into. I’ll have to test it on regular tap water as well as on the Artesian spring water we get delivered in large cooler jugs. Relying on gallon jugs of distilled water seems a poor model to go on, where this business is depending on our first also buying another product, and one that’s incredibly wasteful, considering we’ll go through 2 gallon jugs a week. All that said, I’m really enjoying my coffee. So another drawback is that I’m extra spoiled now and won’t enjoy hotel or restaurant coffee when away from home.

Interesting idea, poor execution
The first thing I noticed was how flimsy and third rate the box is. The box edges were misaligned and starting to come apart. It looked like it was assembled by second graders using Elmer’s glue. Packaging aside, how was the actual product?I followed the instructions and found that the minerals do not fully dissolve. I could see white bits floating around. I decided to wait a couple days to allow it to dissolve, but I still could see solids floating around. I decided to try it anyway. I wanted to give this product a fair shot before I made any conclusions so I finished the rest of the water over the course of about two weeks. Before I used the last of the water, I saw that the solids were still not fully dissolved. In general, I found that my coffee tasted barely any different than my normal water which is simply purified tap water. The inability of this product to dissolve completely immediately or after two weeks already makes it a big failure. It’s inability to produce a coffee that’s better than what I can get with my normal filtered tap water makes it irrelevant.
