Since I am finally able to walk after 3 months from a broken ankle, I have needed a shoe like this. My foot is still swollen and this has been a real help. I was concerned about the foot bed since my feet have always needed something very soft to walk on. But based on some of the reviews here that said the foot bed was not uncomfortable once you actually start walking I decided to give this a try. I have felt no discomfort anywhere while wearing this shoe. I would highly recommend it is you are in a similar position with swollen feet. I am also able to easily wear an ankle brace I bought here on Amazon with this shoe. My only negative is that it is more difficult to fasten the velcro if this is for your left foot and you can't really maneuver yourself around well to bend down. Even if seated it's difficult to use my left hand (not my dominant) to put the strap thru the metal loop to pull the sides together and fasten. There should be a way to do pull the strap from either the left or the right. Also you'll need to make sure you have a comfortable shoe for your other foot to match the height of this shoe. It's not that high, but you can't wear sandals or ballet flats on your good foot if you want to walk evenly.

The Boot ran slightly short. Just had big toe fusion surgery and this fit the bill. Quality is ok for $15. My shoe size is woman’s 8W. The Medium was just long enough with no spare room in length. Width was no problem, and much warmer than open toe boot. Perfect for winter. If you’re looking for ankle support, this is not the bootie for you. Materiel surrounding ankle flops around but Velcro secures bootie to foot well.

For my wife - I wear a women’s 8.5 tennis shoe and the medium side fits great. There is extra room around the toes (which is perfect for protecting your injured toe). It did take some getting used to for walking in, wearing a shoe on the other foot helps. The only issue I had was the Velcro strap is extremely long, I had to wrap it all the way around the shoe.

i broke my foot and the dr gave me this huge boot to wear and i needed something smaller and lighter. this was great but my foot needed to heal a bit before i was comfortable walking in it. it doesn’t really have that rocking motion you need in the beginning

I had to return this boot. Although the price and quality were good, the sizing was WAY off. I am a female 7.5 shoe and this boot was huge! Even with thick socks it provided no support what so ever.
