Super quality Vitamin C
This is a good quality L-ascorbic acid (= Vitamin C). According to orthomolecular doctors, who know about these things, ascorbic acid in this form is just as good for your body and immune system as the fanciest and most expensive version of Vitamin C, but much cheaper. Which is great if you take or need to take high doses. And you can mix it into your drinks, or whatever takes your fancy. So no big horse tablets to take. Plus you can add it to home made beauty products if that is your preference. It is such an important and versatile vitamin and this is a super quality, good value option.

Product expired aince last year
The media could not be loaded. I saw the 2021 date on the package but I thought it was the production date. Gladly I have purchased it to clean my pool but the water got slimmy and disgusting. That is when I looked closer and noticed the product expired almost a year ago. Complete waste of money, would not recommend.

Vitamin C powder with confusing description regarding source of manufacture
Vitamin C must be the king of all health supplements. Although found naturally in citrus fruit, as ascorbic acid it helps to supplement with the extracted product to gain maximum and consistent benefits. This Vitamin C powder by Nature Diet is a pure 100% vitamin C product, with no extras added. Being a powder, it's more usable than tablets or capsules and you can add it to drinks, puddings, or just sprinked on food to taste. One gram is the recommended maintenance dose. The powder is easily dissolved in water or juice and adds a 'zingy' fruity taste to anything. Being an acid, you should not add this to alkaline foods like mil shakes, without first blending it carefully to make sure it does not curdle the mix.Vitamin C is an excellent immune support product, totally natural, and can be taken in larger quantities when feeling unwell, as it helps ward off infection, inflammation and acts as an antioxidant. The product states that it is made in Europe and in fact, states Poland as the source on my pack. On the back, however, I have an odd extra label that states a number, date of expiry and then "China/Cine/Chine" another print area on the front of the pack indicates that this means it originates from China and the lot number and dates of expiryI ordered this Vitamin C because it states clearly in the description that it is manufactured by Interson, Europe and also "High quality, lab-tested, and produced in Europe according to IFS" But then states that it originates from CHINA I consider this to be misleading and confusing information. What is the difference between "produced" and "originates" and "manufacture"?? What should the ordinary consumer think about this? I find it confusing ... Minus 2 stars

Expensive at £9.98 and not as acidic as my existing one
First thing to note is it says it comes from China but product description says produced in Europe which is a bit misleading. Anyway this is just Ascorbic acid and its not quite as acidic as my existing one ... whether its not as good or whether its a different type of vitamin C I don't know. There is no scoop in this so dosage is a bit trial and error. Its best to Google how much Vit C to use and all ascorbic acid is just pure Vit C so it shouldn't matter which company it comes from.Bear in mind this stuff is Vile though so even half a teaspoon in your drink will ruin it. Its also a good idea to put a bit of bicarb of soda with it to buffer the acidity a bit so you can drink it. I personally take a teaspoon every morning in hot water (NOT boiling) which helps it dissolve and about a quarter teaspoon of bicarb. I only fill a glass a couple of centimetres and I neck it down as quickly as possible and then have another full glass of water afterwards. This one is also expensive compared to my existing brand so I wouldn't buy this one again.I hope you found this helpful. Please let me know if you did. 😊

didnt try because no scoop in ours and no indication in ml of what spoon size to use
Weve been upping our vit c for a while now.We try to avoid the tablet forms if poss to make it more likely that everyone will have some. There are various drink forms but how nice to find one that you ADD to any drinks.IT means you can have a vit C drink that is any flavour or so it seemed. The directions say to have 1 scoop a day.Unfortunately a scoop is not provided(I hunted through the whole powdery bag) and there is no inidcation of how large a scoop actually is.As the recommended daily intake should not be exceeded, this makes it impossible to use without knowing the quantity in specific amounts. The label is confusing when trying to work it out by reading what IS there.Per serving per day says 1000mg (is that 1 gramme?)but right underneath it says daily reference intake is 80mgThe spanish information suggests a cuchurada (table spoon?)The italian information 1 misurino (measure)The french information 1 cuillere(dessert spoon)Anyway, we decided it wasnt worth the risk of taking too much of it to experiment.I did open the pack and sample the powder on my finger...It is very tart indeed, like concentrated lime juice. The powder is finely ground like icing sugar. The bag has a zip lock type closure and can stand in the cupboard on its flat base.So if yours does come with the scoop (I assume it was forgotten in our pack), you are going to need to sweeten your resulting drink quite a bit unless you like very sharp flavours.

No dosage advice
This product does not come with clear instructions about how much to take each day. It mentions a scoop but one is not provided. The powder itself is very sour do not nice to drink on its own. So I’m not going to use it unfortunately.

Made in ?
