Great way to get potassium in my diet; especially on days where I eat too much sodium. So if I eat a thousand milligrams of sodium I do three shots 1/4 tsp of potassium bicarbonate in water. You need 3x the potassium for all the sodium you eat. You can make electrolyte water w/ it. Good in summer or after a workout. It normalizes body ph, so it's a good alternative to using baking soda to normalize body ph. It also minimizes leg cramps because you get enough potassium in your diet. It also decreases exhaustion because most people just feel tired because they don't get enough potassium. I feel the tiredness leave after I supplement with this. It gives me that second wind feeling like I no longer feel the need to take a nap. There are 500 milligrams of potassium in coffee. It's not just the caffeine in coffee that wakes people up.

I learned about this product from a holistic healthcare practitioner who recommends that I use it. I commonly use this product in foot soaks as a way to boost my potassium intake. The powder can also be used in full body baths. Check with your healthcare practitioner to assure that your kidneys are able to safely excrete any excess potassium. I have never received a defective bag of this product. I have never had any problems with this item.

I do like that this product has a very clean taste (unlike some of their competitors including the big box brand). This clumps a little, but does not impact the usability nor the taste. I have this on subscription. The quality of the product is high, and it works well as part of my potassium electrolyte mix. I never get leg cramps anymore.

Potassium Bicarbonate (an alkaline powder) makes flour rise in the presence of an acid (cream of tartar or buttermilk or ...) to release carbon dioxide, just like sodium bicarbonate (also an alkaline powder.) You do need 50% to 100% more Potassium Bicarbonate compared with sodium bicarbonate, but you up your potassium level to relax your blood vessels. Sowhatstheproblemhere? :-)
