This is a calendula infused oil with an olive oil base and made with the flowers, not seeds, which works better for my redness and rashes on my neck, and chest than the ones made with almond or apricot oil. All calendula oils are infused with other oils by the way. Calendula is a flower so it makes no oil. I cannot use almond oil on those areas nor face otherwise I break up with spots and acne, so an olive oil base is better for my skin and my son's too because we have atopic skin, so very sensitive and reactive. My local Whole Foods stopped carrying Calendula oil, so I had to find it on line, but I could not find the same brand or price range. I am happy with this product and the price. The only thing is that it did not have a seal inside the cap, only one clear plastic one around the outside of the cap. So the cap and neck of the bottle was a bit oily, not much though, but not the whole bottle or package, like it happened to another costumer bases on the previous reviews. I think that the manufacturer should put a seal also inside the cap also, just in case it leaks. I still would recommend this product to use on the sensitive skin for rashes and redness. The price is reasonable too.

I bought this on a whim having read something somewhere on the internet. I'd been noticing of late, that my skin has been looking rather dry and that caused the appearance of EVEN MORE lines. I know it's winter and this dry effect is common for me. But ... I thought the dry look was extreme (maybe 63 yo is the reason). I have been using this for about one month. It will last for several months based on my use so far. About 4-6 drops for my face and neck and another 6 drops for hands and wrist. What a difference I have experienced! I know every body is different, but this product has replaced all of my expensive creams. After only one month, I cannot imagine that I will find a better product (no matter the cost) and this product is very reasonable! Let me warn, it is very oily. I like it best at night before going to bed, but also use it every morning. I let it sit while I'm dressing and fixing my hair. I sometimes dab it at oilier spots, if I put too much on, but usually by the time I've dressed and curled my hair, II can apply my face-powder with no oily residue peeping through. (Warning Again: every body is different). Just because it is oily, I must admit that my face is more blemish free then ever before. I have not experienced any more "white heads" like I did with so many other creams. This has not hurt my complexion in any way, only improved it very much. I will be buying is this again and again.

I used this product to mix my husband and I our own clean moisturizer. The amount of product you get for the price is a bargain. There is very low scent which I like because I am sensitive but the overall quality leaves our skin soft without a greasy feeling.

I love Calendula oil. I buy it often. It arrives well packaged.
