My Story,I purchased a couple of inexpensive hats to try this style of hat out. Premise: I am NOT a hat guy. So, I get those hats and like the style. I now refine my style into a look...This hat LOOKS GREAT on my with a slightly longer bill in the front...but the FEEL of the leather is soooooooooooo gooooood...I want to sleep in the hat it feels so good. Adjusting the hat and feeling the "plushness" of the leather and the stiching is fantastic.Now, when it gets warm here in CA, I may not be able to wear it as much. BUT as a winter hat, It's HANDS DOWN a great fit and Feel!!Pull the trigger on this hat

The product description states, "100% Genuine Premium Cowhide Leather." Not true. The cap is bonded or PU leather. Note: Because these types of leather products do contain some leather, there can be a leather smell which makes you think you've got a true leather product. Don't be duped though.I sent the cap back for a refund, and I'll keep looking for a true 100% leather cap.

I bought this hat for my dad as a replacement for his old leather cap. I eagerly anticipated getting this hat and it arrived today. I was extremely disappointed when I removed it from the packaging. The leather is stripping in several areas as shown in the photos. The hat feels pretty durable and thick which is excellent for the winter, but the stitching is of poor quality. The hat seems as if it's either old or the leather is old. Otherwise, it's a beautiful hat. It feels soft to the touch and has nice detailing. It arrived with the box and packaging was intact.UPDATEI contacted Amazon, told them it was damaged as you can see in the photo. They told me to keep the hat and they refunded my money. Amazon rocks! My dad did say it keeps his head really warm but is a little big. He actually loves it so I am considering getting one in black. Not sure if I want to risk getting another damaged hat.

"These caps by LETHMIK are OUTSTANDING and the best handmade cap ever!!" I just ordered 3 more as gifts for my Grandsons, a Black, Coffee Brown and a Orange one!! I have 5 caps myself, all in this similar style by others and have been wearing them for years, you know, back when they were hard to get because they were not in fashion, LOL! Then I ordered one of these LETHMIK caps for myself and now the others are history, hanging on a hat rack! This model is very special in that it is made with outstanding leather, stitching is OMG Perfect, the dye work is the best I have seen and lasts & lasts, the added pull down ear covers are to die for and the very well made liner sets this cap well out in front of all others. The quality and looks, of this hat, are second to nobody. I get compliments all the time. The finish, on the leather, repels the rain very well. I originally planned to remove the ear flaps, but they have proven to be quite useful, a few times, so I've, kind of, gotten used to them.The only con... the odor when it first arrived. The hat comes in a plastic bag, which reaps all the chemical odors of processing. Don't plan on wearing this, for several days. Or, if it is a gift, you may want to air it out, for a week, before wrapping it. Also, a good time to block the hat, to get the wrinkles out of the leather.

Pretty disappointed in this cap, as much as I wanted to like it.I originally took a chance at buying one in my normal baseball hat size and, while I loved the textured leather look, it was just too big for my head. Okay. Amazon is pretty good with returns, so I set that up, and also bought a smaller size. Got it today and, to my disappointment, not only was the leather without the textured look like the previous, but the smaller size was somehow bigger than the last, too! Stupid!I’d like to take another chance, but I think this is one of those “fool me twice” situations and I guess it’s just not meant to be. If you’re interested in this cap, proceed with caution. Sizes and style may vary widely.

I ordered a L/XL for my 23" head and it fits beautifully. Nice and snug but not in a way that makes me feel uncomfortable in any way. It arrived in decent packaging and surprisingly in a "frosted" Ziploc style bag. One problem I had with it which was evident when I opened the sealed bag is that the hat had a bit of a smell to it. Kind of a leather smell, but not the most pleasant kind. More chemical-ly. It just required airing out the cap for a few days and putting up with the unique smell for a bit.I have received several compliments on the hat, it looks very sharp and has a quality look and feel to it. I would look into a similar cloth cap from Lethmik if they offer one (about to go look now) as the last one I had from some other brand was too small for me.Update 4/15/17: The smell is completely gone but the compliments have remained. This is a great hat, I love the fit overall and the look and construction has maintained itself so far. You won't be disappointed.

This is my 14th Lethmik leather cap since 2016, all bought brand new through Amazon, I have them all in the collection and the vast majority are excellent in every way. However, since mid 2019, the Lethmik quality control has diminished in the manufacturing process. This is by far the worst hat I have in my collection in terms of quality. The finish is terrible!There are stitching snags all over the cap and I have spent over 2 hours trying to unpick and finish off the cap carefully by hand. What a let down, this hasn't just mistakenly slipped through the quality control net, this is indicative of Lethmik 'milking' what used to be a good reputation. This is the 3rd Lethmik lether cap I have bought through the Amazon Global Store in the past 6 months that has had faults. I returned the other two, one had manufacturing cutting and pencil marks all over it that you couldn't get out, the other had a hole in the leather the size of a 50p coin!ITS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.I can't believe Amazon.com and the Amazon Global Store when acting on behalf of Amazon.co.uk would dispatch a product in such a state as this!

Purchased a size L. If I had known I would have bought an XL. All my previous hats have been size L. Bought a hat stretcher but due to the seams it does not want to stretch. Gave the hat to my son.

No reference /label on the hat stating made of leather. Does not smell or feel like leather. Therefore it is not leather. False advertising.

I get so many compliments on this as it looks proper and it is proper leather.It was a bit snugg at the beginning but now it sits on my head perfect! I even got an bigger size thinking it would fit me better but that was too big.Seller was so quick in dispatching and refunding...

Good quality soft and comfortable fit.
