Very sturdy
These brackets are much sturdier than those cheaper run-of-the-mill white/gray/brown metal brackets. These are perfect for my application.

Strong bracket, but note IT IS JUST ONE BRACKET
I know this just falls into my lap for ass/u/me-ing, but I bought this assuming it was a pair of brackets. Basically it comes down to these brackets are rated for 250 lbs, (it is not clear if this is at the bracket point, or with the assumption of a pair with the load distributed), they look nice and are unobtrusive as they don't have the triangle support bar, it comes to your door for less than going to big box store.BUTif you just need a strong bracket, I'd go for RP-0046-WT, it works out to about a quarter the priceORIf you don't need the strength I'd go with Ultra Hardware Shelf Brackets (variable sizes) for about a sixth the price or less

Good brackets, but not the best price
They are excellent brackets that I'm currently using on 12" shelves in my kitchen holding up my heavy plates and bowls. The only problem here is the price. After looking in local stores, I was able to find them at significant savings. I'd suggest you look at a local hardware store first, you might be surprised as I was. That said, what I love about these actual brackets is that there is no large support strut in the middle, making it easy to stack a couple shelves and have all the space available. They look nice and hold a lot of weight when mounted into studs.Since the screws are largely off-center, it was a challenge to get all three on each one into the actual stud. On one set that I was a little off, I had to angle a screw to get it to bite into wood.

Strong and good looking
Strong and good looking but you pay for it. Used them to put up shelves.

brackets are fine, I especially like the lack of a brace from the vertical to horizontal which makes it easier to place objects on shelves below the top one. They are strong enough to hold up 1 x 12 shelving with moderate weight. The reason for 3 stars is they were placed loose in a box and several had chipped/scratched finish. It would have been simple to have at least taped them together or better yet put some padding in the box to prevent them banging around. If the finish matters don't purchase from this vendor.

I had a sagging bracket-less shelf in my man cave ...
I had a sagging bracket-less shelf in my man cave that needed some support before it pulled away from the wall. The brackets worked as you would expect. I going to take a star off because the paint job on the brackets seemed imperfect in a few spots and it didn't come with matching black screws.

Not that cheap of a price for a cheapish looking product
Very underwhelmed by these brackets, can't say whether or not they will hold up 250 lbs but the shelf felt wobbly with just two. I got these to put above a desk and liked that they didn't have the extra transverse support bar to get in the way but I regret my decision now.On a side note, there were several scratches and dings where the finish was nicked off, these are very rough looking, if you want to put these in a nicer spot in your house, look elsewhere, these are garage or basement quality at best.Bottom line, dissapointed, would not purchase again or recommend to a friend.

Stronger and sturdier than expected!
These are very strong feeling pieces of metal. They have a heavy duty feel to them. I bought them for the bedroom closet and then did not need them so I built a shelf for tools in the garage with them. They are up for the task of holding heavy stuff if you mount them in a stud. One end of the L is longer than the other, it may not be obvious from the photo.

Much better than Home Depot non-sense.
Stylish and sturdy. Paid around $3.30 per bracket. They tuck in a set of black stickers to cover up the screw holes as well. I've bought a ton of these. Great for any room. Use CH Hanson 03040 Magnetic Stud Finder to find the studs. A laser level is also advisable or you will end up redrilling to make everything even. Use a standard level on the actual bracket before you drill the second screw to make sure it is is also level. I used #10 1.5 inch screws and #8 1.5" wood screws to mount to the wall, and 0.5 inch screws to secure the wood shelves onto the bracket, although i think 0.75 would have been better. Home depot is a good place to buy the actual shelves, I got 8 foot L by 16" W finished shelves for $15 each. CH Hanson 03040 Magnetic Stud Finder

4/5 They do the job.
Big. Bulky. A little larger than I imagined, but I was able to make a cheap shelf for the garage.I can't say much more tbqh. They work, they hold weight, some I'm sure of it, mine are holding up tools, I made a rack mounted to the wall and used these. All I can say really, given the time it took for them to come in the mail and everything else, sure, they're ok.-1 point for being ugly. Stuff hanging in my garage is important. Haha.- Would recommend if no hardware store is available.

I love these!
I am organizing my home and I love these brackets. They are not cheap, but they work great! I wanted to but a bracket that stated exactly how much weight it would hold. I used some melamine board on top and made shelves for my laundry room and closets! I love the fact that there is no bar underneath. My boards are 16 inches deep and these brackets are working great. I purchased these a couples times now.

Bracket flexes with weight under 30 lbs.
Bracket itself flexed under weight on shelf that wasn't even 30 lbs. and says rated for 150 lbs with 2 brackets. Maybe but shelf sure won't be flat!
