These candles are a nice quality for burning. However the color is a brownish purple black, next to my other black candles they stand out as not true black. I would still probably buy them due to quality of burn.

These candles are advertised as black, but they are actually more brown in color. When you twist them, they turn gray. They are not made of 100% beeswax as stated in the description.
