It's just paragraphs from the book
UPDATE: I've changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 because I ended up really liking this calendar. It was amusing and interesting, and even tho I'd rather each day be a complete thought that was a small issue in light of how enjoyable it was overall.I like the content of this calendar but it's clearly just paragraphs taken from the book. Even this wouldn't be bad except that sometimes it takes several days -- each with a paragraph or two -- to get to the point. So it's not like you learn something each day, or even have something to ponder. You're left hanging at times. To me, the page-a-day format should provide a complete thought for each day.

I threw it in the trash
This calendar was a rant with some guys problems with the way people talk. It was hard to follow and it contradicted itself. Actually give me a hint for that day that I can use.

Clever and Informative
enjoying this immensely. It's written kind of in book format so there is often an ongoing lesson from day to day.

Too Much Useless Filler
I assumed each page of the calendar would have useful information but instead there is a lot of filler. If you look at the picture of January 7, you will see what I mean. This was a continuation of what had been written for January 6 which was itself a useless continuation of the January 5 page. I've looked through the calendar and there does seem to be some good information but it's often spread out over multiple days in an attempt to fill up the calendar. My advice is to skip the calendar and get the book.

Tear apart book
This is basically a book, split up into 365 paragraphs. Not at ALL what I thought it was based on the description & photos at time of purchase. I'd rather have it as a small book than what it is.

Everything you would expect it to be
What I do like about this calendar, even more than I liked the book, is the definitive descriptions of uses of the colon, as well as pretty much everything else you can imagine (if English grammar and punctuation occupy resident space in your imagination). Useful, entertaining, and yes, correct.

Unfortunate
..that some snob wrote the calendar. Immediate turn-off. At least the dates and days are correct for 2022.

Entertaining and informative
I bought one for myself and two for gifts: one for a friend for whom English is his second language and is often on google checking out usage and definitions and the other for a nephew who is, like me, interested in the subject. Its a desk calendar, so tried and true format. Looks good, is readable and while I haven't read it in depth (as it is for 2022 and I don't want to spoil the daily surprise) looks to cover a good range of topics

Just okay
Not that funny. Not a new subject for each day.
