I like these pebbles because they are small enough to use in any size pot. I have 3inch to 11 inch pots and these stones look great in all of them. It helps keep the leaves out of the soil especially when I bottom water my plants. Which is great because they don't sit in the soil while it's wet.This is my second purchase. I bought a smaller bag to be sure that the pebbles would be small enough and look good. They are perfect!

Perfect to mix or place on top of soilPretty and functional

Bought these for decoration and also to help with drainage in the South Florida climate. Some succulents I use about 80% stones and 20% soil mix so these are perfect for that. They mix well with my soil, no mold, pretty appearance. I did have to strain the entire bag because there was a tremendous amount of dust throughout the bag so that was a bit of extra work, but I'm still very happy with the purchase and will order again soon.

Overall pleased with the mix. The pieces are pretty small compared to how they seem in the pictures, but are colorful and serve their function well. I rinsed them and strained them several times before adding them to my potting mix because they were quite dusty. Even after the first rinse or two, there was still grit in the bottom of the bag when I used it. Worth the money overall

I love how this bonsai mix of beautiful colored lightweight stones complements a wide variety of plants. It looks gorgeous next to so many colors and makes them pop! It is lightweight and airy so it does not hold moisture into the soil. I love placing it under the edges of the agave pups to protect them from wet soil, which can cause rot. It is a beautiful amendment for cactus, euphorbia, agave, aloe, or just about any succulent. I love that the tiny stones are lightweight enough that the pups can still work their way up through the soil and it is not too heavy to stop them from emerging.When I first opened the bag, I didn't notice any type of smell, and I was able to use it right out of the bag without feeling the need to wash it. As I got almost to the bottom of the bag, I did notice that there was quite a bit of dust that had settled to the bottom, so I dumped it into a wire strainer and rinsed it in the sink. It was only about the bottom 2 inches of the bag that seemed to be dusty, not the whole thing, and not enough to stop me from buying it again. I loved it so much, I bought a second bag!

Bought this to use as a top layer in my succulent planters, nice little stones. They are quite rough, and definitely chalky, but after a quick rinse nice and vibrant. They pack in pretty well too, maybe because they are smaller stones.

I used this mix along with a bit of cactus soil and pine bark fines to repot a few sansevieria and succulents. The amount of rocks you get for the money is pretty decent! I have been able to fill one 6in, three 5in, and four 3in pots so far and I still have a decent amount left. They definitely need to be rinsed OUTSIDE (will clog your drain) before use - I used a stainless steel mesh strainer and a hose. They are darker when watered which gives a good visual of how much moisture is in the soil. It is too soon to be able to tell how my plants do in this mix so I will update this review in a few months!

The colors were very nice. Perfect size for cactus

Bought this for some cacti and succulents to put on top of the potting medium for said plants and yeah looks great .the only thing is the packet was open when it arrived and I'm not sure how much of the packet was lost as the box the came in was not sealed properly either . Used what there was ( approx have a packet ) but disappointed that the packet wasn't taped . And if I didn't need it straight away I would of returned it .
