Excellent!
I read the reviews. I thought about it. I ended up purchasing one in yellow. Why not, right? I'm planning on using cloth diapers but my baby was born a micro-preemie and the cloth diapers didn't go that small and I got this tube of heavy-duty diaper cream from the hospital that was thick and thoroughly gross because it had the potential to get everywhere - especially when baby decides to kick around spontaneously. It would wash off eventually, but you also ended up wasting some. The little spatula is made of soft silicone. I only needed to put on a small amount (maybe the size of a gum drop) and I would spread it evenly across my baby's bum (she's still small but should be big enough to wear those cloth diapers soon!). It was quick, easy, and spread like a thin and even layer of butter on soft bread and you can wipe it clean with a wet wipe if there are any residuals. I prefer to wipe the excess off on the diaper though and once in a while, I would wash it off with soap. I also love how it stands up on a suction cup. I put it on top of my book shelf so the suction isn't great, but it stands tall and proud. My opinion now is that I love it. Pricing's a bit steep in my mind but I use it a lot, it helps me save on diaper cream, and I don't have to spend 5 minutes just washing my hands after every diaper change so I guess it's worth it.

Does it’s job
So great for smearing on Aquaphor so my baby doesn’t get diaper rash. The perfect tool

Judge All You Want. But You Need This.
It's not even about not liking to get your finger gross. It's the fact that you can reach into the bottom of the cream container without it getting all over your hands. It's the fact that you use it to scoop it out, rub it on, and wipe it off. DONE. I wish I hadn't allowed the stigma to get to me with my first kid. This is a life changer for my second. I will happily use an extra wipe to clean it off just so that my life is easier. Registry must-have.Does it suction well to surfaces? Not really. But who cares?!

A must have
If there was one thing I would say is a late night diaper change must have it would be this. You’re already super tired, the last thing you need is to get all messy with diaper cream. We have one of these in the car, diaper bag, and 2 around the house. They are awesome to keep your hands clean and be accurate and quick with the diaper paste.

Game changer!
This product made me laugh at first. I thought it was going to be so unnecessary and pointless until I used it. Let me just say, WOW. This is GENIUS! I never realized how annoying having diaper cream on your hands was until it wasn’t. It makes application SO easy and quick! I loved it so much I ordered another one for the diaper bag so I’d never be without! Highly recommend for you or as a gift! Your clean fingernails will thank you & so will your baby. Highly recommend!

Never get Diaper cream on my hands
What I like most about the bumco cream applicator is that I can apply diaper cream without getting anything on my fingers, the applicator cleans easily after each use, and has a nice base for standing up on its own after application while I put the diaper on my children.

I didn't mind getting my finger dirty spreading it on
So I bought this a loooong time ago when my baby was born, and I honestly thought it was the silliest thing ever. My baby never had a diaper rash, and when she did, I didn't mind getting my finger dirty spreading it on. Well now she is on her first round of antibiotics and has a NASTY diaper rash that is not only requiring diaper cream (using butt paste) but Aquaphor on top as well. So last night I spread on the Aquaphor with my finger and that stuff is like freaking grease! I had to use Dawn to get it off my hands. I realized the Bum Brush was my bff and I hadn't realized it yet. Used the bum brush this morning, wiped it clean with a wipe, and no dirty fingers. YAY!

Must have item
Bought the travel size one a couple years ago, much smaller and easily get aquaphor on hand. This one works much better than the travel size one.
