It begins with a pantry section. It describes the new ingredients from the time I was in home ec in jr high school. Just dated myself. I considered myself a competent at baking, then I started having trouble. I sit here and read this book instead of watching tv. I have learned SO much. I now live in a small town instead of a big city, plus I’m trying to get rid of processed foods. I think they were killing me. This book is teaching me how to bake the things I need and some of what I want. Fresh. I bake my first thing today. Instructions are so clear. Lots of pictures. I wish there were similar books for fun side dishes. Such a helpful and fun book!

Love how the book is spiraled making it easy to flip between pages and also it makes it easier to stay on the recipe you're baking. Has a variety of recipes for any stage of baking you may be in.

This is a great book for beginners and seasoned bakers. Contains detailed info about baking that other books omit.

I really like this cookbook Taste of Home always has really great recipes and I've been buying their magazines and books for decades which leads me to my point. In about 34 minutes i will be celebrating another birthday and my eyes won't let me forget it. TOH why is the print in your books getting smaller when your loyal readers are getting older!!! I will use the heck out of this book as I will the next one they have my favorite thing-lots and lots of color photos. So I suggest that everyone buy this book its great just keep the readers close by you'll need them👓.

I own way too many cookbooks but this one is irreplaceable. Most recipies have photos and ingredients are generally easy to find. A great variety of types of breads and all are relevant for a typical home cook.

I e used this book numerous times. Easy step by step instructions for the novice. So many recipes. Definitely a staple baking book in my kitchen
