Appreciate the scent and lather, maybe not the best for certain hair types.
I use this with the Aveeno Kefir Probiotic Conditioner. I have colored, thick, wavy hair. Scent wise, I would almost describe this as a fruit wine. I like it. A little bit of the shampoo goes a long way, lathers really well, even for my thick hair. However, since using it, my hair dries frizzier, and it definitely feels drier, maybe more brittle. This is from air drying. My hair will sometimes curl from air drying, but not with this product. It's not its usual wave either. As I said, it's frizzier, it doesn't have its typical sheen. All that said, I think it's at a good price point (paid 6.97 USD) for the amount of time it's likely to last me. This is why I'm giving it 3 stars.Maybe this is better for someone more prone to an oily scalp, and definitely not for daily washing. I probably won't buy this one again, but I'm still interested in the other lines from Aveeno.

Saved wavy hair from moisture overload!
PSA: Don't be scared by reviews saying it dried their hair out. This is a protein set, protein will dry your hair out and make it brittle if overused or if your hair doesn't like protein. Read up on protein moisture balance! Love this stuff! It's not perfectly curly girl friendly because of a certain silicone, but it's one that is easily taken care of by regular clarifying. If you're wavy like me, odds are you're doing that anyway, so it's fine. My hair was over-moisturized for WEEKS after trying out some Shea Moisture products and the way to balance that out is by adding in some protein. After one single wash I saw major improvement in my curl pattern (it may have taken more washes but I'd already been going weeks without conditioner, etc. to help). The lifeless, greasy frizzy feel is gone. Smell amazing.

for thicker fuller hair
I Starting using this product two years ago. My hair was thin and damaged. The sides of my head always had less hair And never seem to grow out. I had to wear hair extensions on the side to make my hair look filled in. I watched a YouTuber who said to try this product because it’s sulfate and paraben free. Out of desperation I gave it a try. Two years later I probably have a third more hair that is thicker and fuller . I’m absolutely amazed how well this shampoo is working. I guarantee I’ll never try anything else again. PS my hair extensions are now in a drawer.

This made my scalp unbearably itchy! Left my hair frizzy, and also just smells really cheap, like a cheap candle. No thank you.

Favorite shampoo for dry, color treated hair
I absolutely love this shampoo. I dye my hair to cover grays I've had since the age of 16. I also need to wash my hair daily due to greasy roots. Most shampoos, when used on a daily basis, strip the color and dry my hair out.. but not this shampoo. I also noticed that if I skip a day, my roots aren't as greasy.
