Gearhalo Deodorizer Pods - Stops the Stink!

The fact that I'm making the effort to write this review is a testament to how wonderful these pods are. I had a unpleasant chemical-ish smell in my car which I attributed to the rubber car mats that were in my vehicle for a couple of years. I tried everything under the sun to get rid of the unpleasant smell - commercial strength febreze, charcoal packs, baking soda, and I even had the ozone guy come and spray my car - no dice. My cousin told me about these pods they keep in their hockey gear to get rid of the smell and bacteria. So I ordered it up to see, and lo and behold, THE BAD SMELL IS GONE. My car now smells fresh, I LOVE it!! Literally amazing, I'm beyond elated. The scent is strong upon first use, which I love, all the better to combat the bad smells. It has since decreased, still smells great, though not as strong. Who would have thought these little pods would be so good?!On another note, I also put them in my boyfriend's shoes and they make them smell wonderful too. SO much better than the smell of his sweaty feet! I will definitely be buying more, THANK YOU!!

I purchased this item solely on the reviews of the customers. I was super excited to receive this thinking that my shoe odours would be solved. I am a nurse and wear my shoes 12 hours a day and they get "moist" inside. When I read these reviews I was over the moon excited. I have been washing my shoes for years and was looking forward to loosing that task. This product DOES NOT remove odours. It masks them with a super offensive perfume odour that is excessively irritating to people with fragrance sensitivities. The odour remains in all areas that you put the products. I had to wash my shoes, and have my locker at work cleaned. I threw out my socks and had to buy a new backpack because I am now allergic to the odour. It is a musty old grandma odour - something you might find in a ladies retirement home bathroom. I am so upset that no one mentioned that there was a perfume odour. The description is super misleading, BUT IF you like walking around smelling like a perfume factory explosion then this product is for you, just please stay away from me. I would give negative stars if able.

Used this in a desperate attempt to get rid of the smoke smell that was lingering in a leather bag I had purchased second hand. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try, and I was NOT disappointed! After a few days of leaving the packets inside the bag, the smell was completely gone! The bag had a very aggressive smoke smell, but it was completely gone! I had my sister to smell it after without telling her about the initial smoke smell, she complimented how fresh the leather smelled! I was extremely surprised and pleased with the results! Highly recommended.

I have a pet pig, right? His name is Piggy Smalls and he stinks. Hes got this musk that gets into everything - clothes, skin, everything. People come into my house and it looks like they sucked on a lemon because they are assaulted by Piggo smell. It's gross, its embarrassing. I bought these and put them by the front door, and it works amazingly. My house smells 1000x better, you don't get pitch slapped by pig smell when you walk through the front door. 10/10, am buying again.

This product is the best product I’ve ever used we put five stinky hockey bags in our one coat closet and you could always smell the smell when you walk past since using one of these products in each of our hockey bags you literally walk past that closet and it actually smells good when you go into our Hockey room when you open my kids hockey bags they don’t stink anymore I’ve actually even thought of getting these and put them in the car and in the Hope chest because they smell so good
