Great gift
It's a pretty decent quality, the links can be removed to fit better, and it has a diving watch feature that my boyfriend loves.

watch stopped working less than 1 month after purchase
Ran good 2 weeks then when winding the date window began to change on its own even when pressing the stem in while winding. The watch stopped 2 days ago will not go now. Glow lasts 1 minute or less and hands do no glow. Will not wind. Amazon will not refund in any way!

An homage to an iconic design - with surprising accuracy
The Rolex Submariner is one of the most sought after watches in the world. New models cost many thousands and vintage examples can reach as high as $30,000 at auction. Wow ... So when I saw this watch on Vine as an evaluation product, I ordered it hoping for a chance to wear a watch that sets the standard for sporty watch design.Using my standard watch testing protocol (setting the time against a wall clock connected to an atomic clock) I was floored that the accuracy was outstanding, losing barely one minute over my normal test period. Yes, a quality quarts movement (meaning battery powered) will lose or gain seconds over the same period but even a Rolex that is COSC certified (purely mechanical movement) could gain or lose a minute over the course of a month. Color me pleasantly surprised. The face pays honor to the Submariner (note I dare not say copy) and observed from a respectful social distance, you would have to be very sharp eyed to detect that it is not really a Rolex... Really! The band is stainless steel (nicely made) but requires a visit to a jeweler to resize it by removing links (unless you have a giant's wrist! ). The self winding movement (mechanical like a Rolex) has kept the watch going for days. Again, quite a surprise to this watch geek. There are a few concerns so I'll alert you before ordering. First, there is the required jeweler work to size the band - that could cost you $10. Next, it is mechanical and if you don't wear it every day, it will - over time - run out of spring-wound power and stop. If you take it off on Friday and put it back on on Monday, it probably will require resetting. Finally, unlike a Rolex Submariner, the stem (or crown) does not screw down. The Rolex is certified to be waterproof to great depths that neither you nor I would likely encounter - but it easily survives a dip in the pool and visit to the shower. This watch does not have a screw down crown so I have NOT tested its waterproof ability. Color me chicken...Iconic design, surprisingly good accuracy and no battery worries - I like it a lot and I bet you will too.Recommended

Despite Some Flaws, Impressive Value Homage Time Piece
My husband helped me try out this Hanboro Men's Automatic Mechanical Pro Diver Ceramic Bezel Stainless Steel Wrist Watch 1303. Although he found some flaws, he was still impressed by this Hanboro watch, and even more so when I showed him the current listing price on Amazon. He said that many watch companies make homage time pieces inspired by the Rolex Submariner. But not many can make a decent one and sell it for such a low price. This Hanboro has a pretty accurate automatic movement that hacks and hand winds. The watch itself has a nice weight and feels solid. The dial, including the hands and date window, are very legible, and the printing is clear. My husband noted that the date calendar switches over crisply at midnight. The watch includes a signed crown and a display case back. Although the rotor and automatic movement are unadorned and simple, they look clean and functional. The stainless steel watch bracelet tapers down nicely from the lugs to the 2-button release, fold-over clasp. The bracelet also has 3 micro-adjustment positions at the closure. Although the rotating uni-directional bezel only has 60 clicks, it clicks consistently throughout and doesn't have much back and forth play. So overall, this is a decent homage watch. The flaws with this watch include the scant amount of luminescence on the bezel pearl pip. While the hour markers and hands glow brightly for at least a few minutes after exposure to bright light, the bezel pearl is barely visible in low light. The amount of water resistance that this watch can sustain is also questionable. The watch has "DIVING 660 ft-200m" printed on the dial, but the case back reads "3 ATM," which equates to 30 meters. One section of the watch's Amazon listing also reads "Water resistant to 30 m" while another says "in general, suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not diving or snorkeling." Additionally, the watch has a push/pull crown, and not a threaded screw-down crown like most 200m dive watches. While there are some dive watches with sophisticated gasket systems that can sustain 200m of pressure, my husband has some doubts given that this watch sells at such a low price point. Finally, the hand winding crown sometimes doesn't catch immediately. My husband said that this only seems to happen after the crown has been pulled out and pushed back in, like it still needs to be re-positioned to find the teeth of the winding mechanism. So this watch definitely has some issues. All the same, it has been keeping time well and looks handsome on my husband's wrist. And given it's very reasonable price, it still provides an impressive value.

Stylish, runs slightly faster
I have tested and reviewed about 5 self-winding mechanical watches. This "Automatic Mechancial Watches for Men" from HANBORO is the 6th one. So far I'm happy with it. Here is my review. The good:- Looks stylish. I got the black/silver color one and it definitely looks good.- Very wallet friendly. It is the 2nd cheapest mechanical watch I've tested.- Self-winding functionality works fine. I've used it for a week and the watch never stopped.- Comes with a very nice box.- The stainless wrist is good quality, even better than some of the more expensive self-winding watches I've tried.Other thoughts:- It runs slightly faster than real clock, about 4 minutes in a week.- Does not come with the tool to adjust the wrist length.- The watch itself is a little bulky comparing to other similar watches.Overall I think this watch is a good value and still recommend it. I hope you find this review helpful and thanks for reading.
