BLS-48N 48v Battery System Desulfator Rejuvenator

I was skeptical, did some research. This unit costs about 20% as much as a new string of Golf Cart batteries, so I figured if it made them last another season, it'd pay for itself.I installed it last week. My 'cart already has a clock / fuel gauge I made for my wife, so I'd been tracking voltage pretty closely. Over the last season it has declined noticably... lower resting voltage after a charge, lower voltage during use, less "peppy" in general. Resting voltage was around 48.5v, even after a charge. At the worst it would hang out around 48v after dropping the kids at school, which is a ~ mile run on neighborhood streetsThis device gets warm in when it's active, and has a red light to show when it's "on." It also shuts down when the battery gets below some voltage. I'd seen the LED on and off roughly when expected, so I figured it was working. Apart from the warmth and light, it's not obvious that it does anything. The hookup was super simple.After a few days I started noticing subtle improvement -- faster recovery after moving was most obvious. It seems to charge faster (harder to measure). Then it started getting more perky, and had a higher resting voltage. Yesterday my wife finally drove the cart: "Wow" she said.Right now the cart rests around 49.5, and I'm regretting not having a better journal of the battery levels to see the change. I'm debating installing the 24v models on my kids' riding toys. It definitely works, much better than I had hoped.

I got the BLS about a year ago and waited to prove its claims before this review.I have four(4) of 12 Volts, 200 Amphour VRLA batteries connected in series that has been in use for 2 years and may have reach the end of their lives because they did not hold charge again.Though I've use this type of battery before and had a maximum life span of 2 years and discarded them.I was just about discarding these batteries(current Battery in use) when I decided to try the BLS. The battery manufacturer claim life span of 5 years but that depends on (1.) Depth of discharge (2.) number of cycles (3.) Surrounding Temperature of battery etc.I got the BLS and hooked it up to the battery. The result is excellent;Initially the battery could not take the load(electrical/electronic equipment) up to 15 minutes, but now it takes more than 3 hours. Battery equalizer; This will keep all the battery on the same voltage all time and will not allow overcharge of some batteries which actually lead to battery damage. This will save cost as well as you don't need battery bank replacement before time.(2.) Mini LED for voltage measurement hook up to each battery permanently; This will help detect any weak/bad battery in time. A weak battery among the series string can cause your system to shutdown before time and also overcharge the good batteries to damage. This has actually save me a battery bank I was about to replace by only replacing one.(3.) Battery desulfator: A know cause of battery dead is sulphate build up on the plates. A desulfator dissolve the buildup and make the battery new. By this you can extend the life of your batteries by 200% to 300%

not sure about this product. I installed on my battery operated golf cart and did not see any difference. Sold the cart and bought a new gas one.

After 4 weeks, battery bank of (6) 8V batteries now tests perfect. Bank is 18 months old and 2 of six batteries would not charge well and always tested 8.3V or less a few hours after recharge. 49.4Vwith accurate amprobe meter was the best the bank would indicate. Now, 24 hrs after charger off, reading is always 51.3 + with the restored batteries indicating 8.5+. Have used other types of desulf units before with mixed results. This unit WORKS. VERY pleased.

Guess I’ll let you know in four or more years if its working. because there is NO WAY to tell if it is of any benefit at all when placed on new or young batteries. Also if you mounted it on your cart, know that it is only activated when you plug the charger in. The red power on light on the desulfator only comes on during charging. So apparently it just takes a joy ride on your cart the rest of the time. Can you still return it after four or five years if it doesn’t work? I smell a scam. Hope I’m wrong.

For solar panels batteries.

The suggestion sent with this product is that it could take weeks or months to work.. we left it for months hoping it would, it did nothing at all Problem is that the 90 day window recently expired as we were trying to get it to work so we can’t even get a refund. It’s an expensive paperweight now

Fitted to 48v golf cart.After being fitted for just three days the charge gauge stays high for a whole 18 holes.It used to just last the one round.May return to getting two rounds from a charge.It works, well worth the the cost. The delivery time was quick.
