Easy install and they work
Always like things that work right out of the box. These anchor fasteners are very functional, work and have good clean threads. The fact that they're made of stainless steel is the reason I purchased these over others. Just drill a 5/16" hole at least a quarter of an inch deeper then length of shank going into the hole, then vacuum out the dust the best you can, thread the nut back to last thread or so, then insert into the hole and pound the remainder of the shank flush to the washer and then tighten nut. I used a 1/2" deep socket attached to my cordless impact tool. I did not over tighten. Last tightening was done with hand wrench to get a proper feel.

They work as expected
Drill hole, hammer bolt in, tighten nut. Simple effective anchors.

Be careful when tightening
When tightening the nuts onto the studs, two of them cold-welded, and the stud sheared as I tried to tighten it. I had to angle grind them off since they were down in a blind hole, and drill new holes an inch to the side. I ended up getting zinc plated anchors from Home Depot. When tightening, make sure that there is no grit or debris on the studs!!

304 stainless anchors
Used these to install aluminum cleats into a concrete seawall - they installed easily and worked as designed to anchor the cleats in the concrete

It is stainless - has a very slick surface compared to galvanized.
Drilled into poured concrete, circa 1964, tapped in anchor and tightened. Zero problems.I always over drill the depth by about an 1 1/2" and don't remove the concrete dust. Tighten in sudden jerks until firmly set.

These Wedge Anchors are poor quality
I am installing a swimming Pool hand rail and needed these Stainless Steel 3/8 x 3" wedge anchors for the two surface anchor sockets holding the rail. After drilling and pounding in the first wedge anchor bolt I hand wrench tightened the nut it, but when I tried to remove the nut to mark and install the other two bolts, the nut was stuck on the bolt and could only be removed. It was not easy to pull this wedge anchor out of the concrete and there was some damage to my rail socket and the surface concrete in doing so. I even tried to remove the nut with the anchor in a vise and the stuck nut sheared off. I believe whatever SS material used on these bolts was too soft. - So ordered Simpson Wedge Anchors - same size and in 304 Stainless and just installed the rail today and these wedge anchors worked perfectly with easy nut removal. - I am returning the Horiznext anchors for a refund
