The real McCoy...maybe
Top notch, heavy duty, no nonsense pedal. Just buy it. This is coming from a 40 year pro audio veteran.Product Review Update: It has been a little over two years since purchasing this pedal. I sang its praises at first, however it is now basically unusable in its present condition. Apparently the potentiometer inside has developed some dead spots, even though it has been used lightly in a studio environment. The pedal itself is sturdy and well made, therefore I'm hoping I will be able to open up the case and do a good cleaning on the potentiometer or replace it with a better quality component. I lowered the rating from 5 stars to 4 as I would have expected a longer life from this product.

Behringer competes with other brands..
Behringer, despite the faces musicians make when you mention them, has been making quality gear for friendly price tags for a long time. This pedal performs as good as the top 200 dollar Exp Peds. It's a bit bulky and bullies the pedal board for real estate, but she does the job she was hired to do. Tuner out function is nice to isolate tuner from the signal chain, Adjustments on bottom for "light to heavy". You can tell this thing is built like a tank.

Very Sloppy Expression Info
I bought this as an expression pedal. I did not check it's use on an audio signal. The expression (CC#11) info was very delayed - also very sloppy and jerky near the bottom. Returned.

Simply did not work.
I bought one of these for my girlfriend to use as a volume control pedal with her Casio PX-350 stage piano. I ran the L (mono) output of the piano to the input of the pedal and the output of the pedal to a Behringer mixer. Running the pedal through it range of motion did not produce a continuous change in volume as it should have - instead it acted more like an "on-off" switch - there was no volume until the pedal reached a certain point, then there was full volume. As it was past the 30 day return window before she got a chance to try it, I was unable to return it for a full refund, but I did return it and was charged a $12 restocking fee.I gave it two stars rather than one because it is built like a tank - heavy and solid. Almost two heavy. And as I have had good experience with other Behringer products I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume I simply got a bad unit.

Pretty good for the money
It’s a bit bulky for our stage act (small country duet) but good for just practicing or every day non-professional work. Decent quality for the money.

Worth EVERY penny!
As good as the brands that are double the price of this unit! It does what is made for, which is a volume pedal and an expression pedal with no huss. Also, works perfectly with my fractal AX8. Easy to use you can control it's stiffness easily using the screw at the back. What is more, it is really solid, well built and designed for heavy duty users. Moreover it does not require a power supply!I can't believe that all this is for $60!!!
