Really nice fan
The media could not be loaded. We were surprised when we got the fan to find out the blades are plastic - not wood! But it really looks like wood - even close up! Of course when you’re putting the fan together you see the inside and can tell it’s plastic. It is unlike any other ceiling fan we’ve put together, and we’ve installed a lot of ceiling fans. But even though it’s different, we got it installed fairly easily. The amount of air coming off of it is pretty significant. Nice fan at a nice price.

Sleek Look!
This ceiling fan transformed the look of my home. I will purchase more to modernize the feel of our entire house. Great product!

Love the design and it really pushes the air!
I think the fan is really nicely designed. It really makes a statement and I don't really see it as "farm house style". It's more modern in its profile. It has a range of settings (the wind setting is interesting but you can hear the motor switching gears when it changes from light breeze to higher levels and back again). I often just set it at "2" or "3" and that produces the perfect airflow. Unlike my previous fan, I can really feel the air moving with this fan. Some of the directions were a little unclear, but we figured it out so overall not too difficult to install. I'd buy another one if they had it in a smaller size for my study.

World's Most Patient Husband Dropped "F" Bomb During Installation
An irreplaceable part broke on our ceiling fan of over 30 years, and we were forced to scrap the entire thing. My husband and I opted for the Vonluce fan because of its sleek look and its great features such as remote-control operation capability, timer options, and multiple light and speed settings. The mostly positive product reviews swayed us in favor of this fan over the name brand one we bought beforehand and then returned to the store after my husband read many negative product reviews. So far, the fan is working well. I can't say if it will be durable, as we have only used it for a day. The plastic fan blades have a few paint snafus, as shown in the images I posted. Installation was super frustrating and the main reason I deducted one star from my overall product rating. I have included some suggestions for simple product modifications that would go a long way to improve the installation experience. When our fan arrived, I eagerly opened the box to find it nicely packed in the Styrofoam-type product I hate more than any other, because it's super fragile and highly static. Although I'm not an expert in packing material, I have enough experience with it to dread the type of foam that consists of little, pebble-like pieces that are somehow compressed together, easily break, and stick to everything (i.e., your skin, your clothing, your flooring and furniture, etc.). As a matter of fact, much of the packing material broke during shipping, and little balls of foam flew out of the box to greet me when I opened the lid.I am happy to say that the product itself arrived in good condition, except for two fan blades that had small painting defects on the edge of the blade. My husband and I could see that the blades had been damaged and repaired with touch-up paint. One blade has slight sanding marks where the repair had been made. We knew about the imperfections before the installation, and we thought about asking for replacement blades, but we figured they would take a long time to arrive, and we decided no one else would notice the imperfections.Next, we read the installation instructions, which are very well-written, concise, and clear. There are numerous illustrations to help the installer visualize the work to be done at every step. Given how straightforward everything appeared, we started working and expected to quickly finish the task. The estimated time to complete the installation is 2 hours. We required several hours over three consecutive days to complete the installation. A summary of obstacles follows.1) The hole-spread on the mounting bracket was slightly too wide for our junction box, and we spent hours at two different hardware stores locating an adjustment bracket to resolve the issue. At the end of day 1, the mounting bracket was successfully and securely in place. Yay! I hope future models will modify the hole spread to prevent the kind of frustration we experienced.2) The receiver box was super challenging to insert into the mounting bracket. We struggled for about two hours to place the receiver box in the mounting bracket's too tight, designated space. The height of the insertion space should be increased by 0.25 inches (0.64 cm) to make the job quick and easy, as it was intended to be. We were so tired from struggling with the mounting bracket that we postponed the installation of the fan blades and light to the third day of the job.3) We used about another 2 hours to install the blades, another task that should have been easy enough for a monkey to do. Well, the blades had to be adjusted and readjusted to properly fit onto the flywheel, and once in place, two sets of hands are needed: one set to hold the blades steady while the second set of hands places the screws, which was also challenging because the hole alignment between the blade and the flywheel was not accurate. After many failed attempts, my husband, the most patient guy I've ever met, finally dropped an "F" bomb, and he's not a guy that swears. Anyway, we finally resolved the issue by loosely installing all the required screws for all three blades, made manual adjustments, and then tightened the screws once they were in position. The product could be improved by making precise the location of the screw holes and by creating a mechanism to allow the blades to snap together such that their inner most edges easily align and facilitate the insertion of the screws that hold the blades securely.

Deceptive/Poor airflow
Seller was intentionally deceptive on the "walnut" aspect of this fan. Had to select "specifications" "more specifications" then "all specifications" to find out this was an overpriced piece of crap that doesn't move much air. Just noticed the CFM rating has just been removed from specifications as well. Just ask Rufus. Wish I hadn't purchased 6 of these. Poorly made. Instructions were very poorly written.

Blows a lot of air
This ceiling fan is great it blows a lot of air and refreshes the room. The blade are plastic which makes it better for the air flow and the remote works with all features. Also easy to install. Probably the best ceiling fan I've bought and at a great price. Well worth it.

Quiet and effective!
Love this fan. It looks sleek and runs almost silent. It offers the ability to change the temperature and brightness of the lights so I was able to match my lamps. Fan speed is variable and you can change the direction of the blade rotation. Functions perfectly for our office/guest room.

Cool fan for my shop!
Easy to put together, and stylish, I love that the remote gives me so many options for forward, reverse, turbo mode, etc. This thing moves a lot of air when you turn it up and is also extremely quiet. I actually leave it on all the time in my shop to keep the air circulating. I mounded the remote next to the incoming wall switch. Installation was straightforward, directions were adequate, fit and finish is very good. I get a lot of compliments. Well done.
