hated it initially, now I'm hooked!
I wanted to share a recipe alongside my review. I'm still experimenting on this through trying many different products in different price ranges, but it looks like my taste buds just don't like green tea, period; and worse, the more high end the product, the stronger the flavor, and it's exactly that muddy, grassy (I swear just like henna paste) flavor that's more and more prominent in quality green teas that I hate... Maybe it's some kind of cilantro-soap thing going on here; who knows. Anyway, I had high hopes for this product because it's not a high end green tea, lol.Scent of jasmine is surprisingly prominent. To be frank, I did not expect this much aroma at this price point, you do not only smell it, you can actually taste it. Actually, I bought a higher priced organic green jasmine to compare them later, sure that this one would be a flop, but had no need to open the other one so far! I'd never had it before, so it was beautiful to smell it when just brewed, lol, but I quickly realized that I associated this kind of scent only with a flower vase on the table, not something I would eat or drink. The scent was such a disconnent from foodstuff for me. I barely chugged my first cup down - by force.Fast forward, prepared it again, and found out I still had not suddenly acquired the taste for it, nor grown a monocle and become a tea snob. Why was this so persistently undrinkable? Disappointed, I reached out for something to mix into it...Fast forward, and I'm putting bags of green tea and this tea 1:1 (so it's not super strong) in a pitcher of water, and then I sprinkle a couple of True Orange baggies to taste (I am not affiliated with the company). It was a game changer! This was a total serendipity because I was trying to use orange flavor to see if I could drown the floral flavor out, but I was finetuning and tasting as I went so it resulted in balancing it - I could taste the distant freshness of green tea, the crispness of orange and clearly the jasmine all at once, which then all turned deIightful and it went so well together! And my mind was blown by this sudden convergence, because I disliked it so much previously! Best thing, the sugar in True Orange is so negligible, it was 0kcal per bag even though sugar is present.I've been also chilling it well after this before drinking and it didn't really need sweetening, unless you're the type to sweeten your drinks a lot. Very refreshing. But also could be improved with a bit of sweetener. Definitely tastes better chilled, and it also helps that I don't steep for too long (I pull pure green tea out just after 1min to make sure it doesn't overasaturate the mix, and jasmine bags after 2min). Again, I do not like the taste of green tea at all... I only enjoy it when it is just a hint, a faint fresh backdrop. To my shock, jasmine evolved into a culinary aroma through this combination. If you're new to floral teas like me and aren't thrilled about it, give it a try. I know I will be brewing this very often.UPDATE: After a while, I forgot to add orange and realized - now I like jasmine without orange too! Hands down, this is now one of my top 3 favorites. Jasmine worked out for me kind of like coffee did, hope it does for you also :)

Great Flavor at a Nice Price
The media could not be loaded. A key ingredient for the type of boba tea I enjoy is jasmine green tea. There are a number of brands I've tried. I enjoy the Happy Belly offering of Jasmine Green Tea for having a lovely flavor at a reasonable price. The tea is individually wrapped, to keep the flavor fresh, and it comes with a two-year expiration, so you have time to drink it. I recommend drinking it within a few months, though, as leaves are a natural item and the flavor will fade over time. It's just the way of all teas and herbs.Well recommended as a pantry staple.

Great flavor and a great price... Im just not excited that each bag is packaged in PLASTIC!
Love this tea, but hopefully in the future they can do away with the plastic wrappings.

Yum!
This is a wonderful jasmine tea, just like what you'd get in a quality Chinese restaurant. It's fragrant & delicious, even unsweetened! My only caution is not to let it steep for more than 2 minutes, as it can become quite bitter if left too long. Highly recommend!

Decent Tea
I think this tea is decent, and it's a good value. What I don't like is that each tea bag comes in individual plastic wrappings. I understand that it's to keep the tea fresh, but I don't like it. They're hard to open, they're bad for the environment, and they're just not necessary. Most of my tea does not do this, and my tea is fine.
