Celestron Outland X Monocular with Tripod and Smartphone Adapter

not worth it, doesn't hold phone, very awkward

I bought this hoping to take photos with my iPhone. The description said it was compatible with all phones.It does not work with phones which have more than one lens.I also found it very difficult, in fact near impossible, to focus while looking through the monocular while wearing my glasses.

Me gustó que tiene un acercamiento poderoso y se ve excelente, con un poco de práctica enfocas muy bien, no me gustó que las fotos con móvil tienen muy mala calidad, aberraciones indeseadas, este monocular es excelente a ojo pero no con celular, y solo con buena luz, nunca en amanecer o atardecer, pero su calidad de construcción es notable, lo recomiendo después de todo

My iPhone kept slipping and had to be readjusted in the mount. The mount was too flexible, which made the phones camera lens move away from the monocular lens, resulting in a very small image on the phone. This was nothing like the picture being advertised. The monocular itself seems ok. It has a very narrow focusing range, so even the slightest movement ends up in a blurry picture. I bought it as a gift for my wife to take pictures of stars but all the adjustments make it hard to use so I am sure it won’t get used. Total bummer. I expected it to work as advertised but it simply doesn’t.

Compre este monocular con grandes expectativas por la marca "Celestron", sin embargo fué una gran decepción, por los iguiente:1. es muy difícil de enfocar, aún puesto sobre un tripie.2.- no tiene nitidez3.- presenta aberraciones cromáticas muy marcadas.4.- los colores no son vividos, como se anuncia, mas bien son apagados.5.- aunque el cristal es bak4, no tiene multicapa completo (all), creo que ese es el problema.Lo regrese, se tardaron 15 días en el reembolso lo que me parece exagerado, estuve en contacto con amazón, en esta ocasión no me toco buen servicio.Este monocular no vale la pena, por el precio al que lo venden.
