Great air cooler for Ryzen
Saw a review from kitguru about this cooler and decided to buy this instead of the D15 or Dark Rock Pro 4. Because of the way the pipes are laid out, they make better direct contact with the Ryzen core chiplets so the AS500plus performs better than the D15 is some case.I also liked the slimmer build and easy install. On my 5950x it kept the cpu temps below 70C even during repeated benchmarks and cinebench runs with PBO turned on. Scored over 28K with just 3200mhz ram. Noise level is also very low but the tone is a bit high pitched.I did not want to mess with an AIO so this was the best option I had, and I am very happy with the performance.UPDATE: 6 months in and this is still performing optimally.

LGA 1700
If you are getting this to cool your intel 12th gen CPUs then you're screwed. Deepcool states that newer units will include the LGA 1700 kit but it's been over 6 months since the launch of the 12th gen CPUs and I have yet to find the AS500 plus with the mounting brackets included. This applies to the ak620 and a few other coolers from Deepcool that I know of. Be warned that without the necessary mounting hardware, you will not be able to install the cooler on your CPU.I completed the free lga 1700 kit request on their site after sending all the necessary proof of purchase as requested, but it's useless. When I asked them about this, they linked me to a site where can purchase the LGA 1700 kit seperately for about rs. 250. Even if you are fine with, get ready to wait days-weeks for it to arrive, depending on where you live.Deepcool, why do you claim you will send us a free lga1700 mounting kit if you're a 12th gen owner and your box didn't include one if you're not gonna do it? Or is that valid only in countries where most gaming reviewers are based in? All Noctua and Arctic coolers have been coming with the LGA 1700 bracket for some time now. What a waste of time.Edit: I got a replacement and the new one looked like it didn't include the 1700 kit but it did. The manual you get is still the older version and there's no indication of it. The newer back plate is compatible with both lga 1200 and 1700 sockets, you just have to adjust the screws on the corners to shift it from 1200 to 1700.

Bought for a new build
Bought this to mount on my new build. MSI z690 board. 12600K processor. No issues installing. Very straight forward. Keeps everything cool and comes with everything needed.

Keeps my machine cool
The manufacturer sent a mounting kit for my LGA1700 socket. Fast delivery from California and it was totally free.I am shocked how cool it keeps my 12th generation Intel. It never gets above 50c and I am used to 70c with my liquid cooler on my old 4th generation Intel.Make sure your case can support the extra height of this cooler. My Corsair 5000D airflow case worked fine but it made me nervous until I attached the glass side that there was enough clearance.Note: the fans comes attached to the cooler but you will need to remove them during install. Not difficult at all if you are careful.

a bit tough to install please read
It comes with fans already on it, take them off when mounting in AM4 otherwise you won't be able to access screw ports fins on fan are extremely sharp so take caution adding or removing fans. I upgraded to this cooler from a Wraith Spire LED RGB cooler and my idle temps dropped 10+ degrees as well as in gaming in Cyberpunk2077 my temps hit no higher than 52c playing at 2k using stock cooling I was hitting 72c at the highest point which prompted me to buy this cooler, this cooler is 166mm 6'' tall so make sure your case can support this thick boi.
