A "crate" thing to have . . . 26" Multi-Use Pet Kennel
GENERAL IMPRESSION:I like it almost as much as my puppy and she wasted no time walking in. No pet treat bribes required.PRICE:This product is reasonably and affordably priced. A good value. Score 5/5ASSEMBLY:The unit goes together in a fairly straightforward manner with fairly clear instructions and no tools required. I intuitively put it together with only a glance at the instructions. I would describe myself as somewhat handy and but strongly intuitive. Score 5/5QUALITY-Durable plastic shell, featuring a very tough steel mesh door. Excellent Value for the Price. Score 5/5APPEARANCEAttractive sleek design. The light grey and black colour (yes I'm Canadian) scheme should fit in with any décor. Score 5/5USEFULLNESSMy puppy immediately took possession. It should prove useful for both training and transport (a great size for travel). The gate can be a bit finicky, but it reads secure. Score 5/5Total Score 5/5Please note when factoring in height the thickness of any pet bed you may be using (not included).

Mind the Door!
So, a carrier is a carrier is a carrier? This assembles easily, and can just as easily be disassembled for storage. Yay.I like that the door "latch" is operated from the top, and you can open from either the left or the right. However, the bottom of the door tends to close either under or over the plastic threshold, and care must be taken to ensure the door has latched securely through the bottom hole. If you are in a rush and might forget to double-check the door, maybe look for a more fool-proof carrier.

Handy, Good Design
I have rabbits. Plural. They don't love being picked up (though we have to sometimes). This is a great kennel to transport them outside to the playpen, or, as recently occurred, to the vet. I leave it in their room so they can go in and out at will -- so when it's time to get them in there, it's not such a big deal. It's roomy enough for them both, sturdy, and the top door option is great. It all comes apart for cleaning. The only fiddly thing is getting the pins in the front door secured into their bottom holes. That takes two hands to line them up, but they do go in. I would recommend this.

Don't buy. Flimsy, and not approved for airlines.
Don't buy this kennel. I bought it to transport my dog on United Airlines. It even came with stickers indicating it was approved for airline travel. At the airport today - United Airlines indicated this kennel was not acceptable because of the plastic sliding locking mechanisms. Actually, this kennel is really flimsy and the locking slides don't work much at all. I had significant trouble opening and closing the latches, which never secured, proving the airline was justified in rejecting it. So embarrassing at the airline counter. Had to buy a new kennel on the spot, costing me money and worse lots of grief and frustration. Attached picture shows United kennel requirements - sliding latches not approved unless you drill holes and add bolts and nuts.United Airlines sold me a Petmate kennel, 32 inch size, at the counter for $142, and now I see I could have bought the same exact on Amazon for half that price. However the Petmate kennel they sold me is well worth the money. It is solid construction, uses bolts and nuts, easy to use, and much much better than the Noz2Noz disaster. My recommendation: buy the Petmate crate instead of the Noz2Noz crate. Lesson learned. Hope to save someone else the grief. Here's the link for the Petmate kennel: Petmate Sky Kennel for Pets from 70 to 90-Pound, Light GrayMy recommendation: .

Way too small despite company website saying 26 inch fits dogs up to 35 lbs - order at least 1 if not TWO sizes LARGER
I just received this kennel today and I am disappointed with it. I had done extensive research to purchase a hard sided (plastic) crate, and chose this one because overall the product received good reviews, and a merchant was offering it for what I thought was an excellent price ($27 + shipping). I read many reviews, read the company's website descriptions of the crate, carefully reviewed the dimensions, measured my dog, etc. But when I put it together 5 minutes ago, it became clear that it is entirely too small for what I need. The product information given on the company's website states that this size (26 inch) is for pets up to 35 pounds. But I would never use it for a dog of that weight/size, and can't use it for my dog who is 24 lbs. I would say that this crate in the 26 inch size is a decent size and good crate for dogs 15 lbs and under, only. Background: I bought this plastic crate primarily to use for my dog who is 24 lbs (Boston Terrier), and also planned on using it temporarily for my foster dog who is 14 lbs. I did not use it for airplane travel, just intended to use it on an occasional basis when I travel with my dog and need to bring a long a crate for him to use in the rare instances I need to leave him in the hotel room/friend's house etc. for a brief period while I am out so he is not unattended.I have a sturdy but heavy black metal wire crate for my dog that I use when I travel with him, and was looking for something still sturdy but lighter and easier to travel with. I also am planning on taking the dogs on a trip next week and thought I could use this new crate for my foster dog (and still bring the metal crate for my dog), and then after the trip and after my foster dog is adopted, use the plastic crate with my dog. But there is no way that my 24 lb dog would be comfortable in this crate, it is way too small. He would only have a tiny bit of room above his head if he was standing up, and I don't know if there is even enough room for him to stand up and change positions if he wanted. (He refuses to go inside the crate and I don't blame him - but he has no problem going into taller and larger crates). My dog's metal crate is the 30 inch size and truth be told it is a bit big for him - he has LOTS of room in it, so I thought this "26 inch" would be fine. But the sides of the crate do not go straight down - they slope at the bottom so there is less room than the measurements indicate it has.Thankfully I should be able to use it on a very short term basis with my 14 lb foster dog (also a Boston Terrier). But he is a very petite, slim, tiny little dog in the first place. There is a decent amount of room for him, although I would still prefer for him to have more room over his head. But I was able to get him to go in it and he is currently taking a nap inside of it, so hopefully he will tolerate it on a road trip next week and to stay in at times while at the hotel. I will donate this crate to the rescue group (well, to my foster dog's permanent family who adopts him), but I didn't order it for that purpose and am bummed that I have to keep looking for a lighter crate to use long term with my dog.The next size up in this crate is a 32 inch, which I debated purchasing because my dog's metal crate is 30 inches. But the company's website states that the 32 inch side fits dogs up to 50 pounds, and I thought it was unnecessary to get that much of a larger size since mine is only 24 lbs. Also, his 30 inch metal crate is pretty big and he does not need any more room than 30 inches, so I thought the 32 inch was too big for that reason. But maybe due to the sloping sides and short height of this particular product, the 32 inch would have been a better choice. (It was also about $30 more which I didn't want to spend if I didn't have to).Maybe this crate is designed solely to be an airplane transport crate and not for dogs to use in a home or as a bed while traveling. If that is the case, maybe it's an OK product for some. But I would definitely recommend if you are looking at buying this crate, buy t at least one size LARGER than you are planning on, if not TWO sizes larger, to ensure that your dog is comfortable. Your dog will appreciate it!Pros: Got what I thought was an excellent price ($27 + shipping) for this item. Shipping was quick. Easy to put together. Good gate locking mechanism.Cons: Too small for my 24 lb dog when company states it is for pets up to 35 pounds. Too short of a ceiling in this 26 inch size - my 24 lb dog refused to go inside - and I don't blame him, it is like shoving him into a small dark box. Packaging of the item was terrible - box was completely falling apart. Luckily none of the parts seemed damaged. The item was filthy, covered in dirt and dust. Perhaps it was such a great price because the seller had it stored in a dirty dusty shed or warehouse? Who knows.
