The leather cover accommodates the Hobonichi Mega however it would be better if the cover was a tad larger to fit an expanding Mega that has washi tape, photos etc. inside of it.A double popper would also help so as the Mega expands a second popper would offer more room.The cover smells like leather however it’s very hard. It is in no way a soft leather cover though the Croc impression is STUNNING!!! It’s even more beautiful on the inside and on the back. If Croc is what you like you will LOVE this cover!I purchased the red Croc and the color looks nothing like what’s pictured on Amazon. Instead of the vibrant red pictured it looks more like the color of Dentyn chewing gum.The elastic pen holder is a great idea but if I place a pen inside of it I can’t close the cover. This is where a second popper would offer more room to do so.My initial thought upon opening it was…. It’s not really red but the Croc is great! Mind you, even the picture I took of it looks more red than it truly is. Also, it’s hard to the touch. But once I placed my Mega inside of it I haven’t taken it out. I guess it’ll be a nice placeholder until I decide to spring for a Gillio.

So im torn how to review this cover.I purchased this brown cover on a whim when it showed up on Amazon. For the price for a genuine leather cover I was stoked.I had some issues where I needed to contact seller multiple times and they responded so fast it was great so that gets 5 stars in itself.Shipping was much faster than estimated as well which was amazing.Now when it came time to open my new cover I was really let down. Firstly, the leather smells is almost completely masked by a chemical smell, which im assuming is the dye. Its nauseating.The leather quality is also very disappointing. It looks and feels almost like plastic. Im really sad because with the amazing customer service I was expecting the product to be phenomenal. Im going to keep the cover because for thr price its too much hassle to return and wait for refund.
