Love this thing!It's totally not my style - it's very fashionable and elegant, which is the opposite of me - but I wound up loving it! I purchased it for a Moon Fairy costume because of the nice flat gray color. It worked PERFECTLY with my outfit, but I think I'll probably wind up wearing it with normal dresses to cover my shoulders.It's a nice sheer material - but not too sheer. The perfect weight. It sat nicely where it was supposed to all night.And I totally felt like an elegant Superman in it and wound up flouncing it on several occasions to underscore and accentuate VERY important assertions I was making about the lives and legend of Moon Faeries. So THERE. You CAN'T argue with a woman wearing a cape!

Beautiful, not to long, not too short. I have chunky arms and my outfit was sleeveless. This helped camouflage it perfectly.

I purchased a sleeveless dress for my son's wedding and wanted a sheer cover for my arms. Pashminas do not lay well be cause I have a larger chest. This chiffon cape worked perfectly. It didn't hide the dress yet covered my shoulders and upper arms and the cut was visually flattering. I received many compliments. The color was also true to the picture.

OMG! PERFECT.I have a fatty armpit. Scared of wearing sleeveless. This shawl provided the perfect coverup for my spaghetti strap evening gown.This can be worn in different styles. Must have.

This is a great product. They are beautiful and dress up an outfit. The length is perfect and the overall look feel etc. is fantastic. I would have scored it a 5 however, it wrinkles very easily and it's hard to get the wrinkles out.

I first ordered the wine red but it was much brighter red than I could use/than I expected from the picture. Unfortunately they don't offer a darker, more burgundy red color, so I got navy blue instead. The blue is what I expected, as was the design on both shawls. The picture is accurate for the design, with a shorter front and pretty long back. I love the design despite it not being offered in the color I prefer.

So, three weeks before my brothers wedding (in which I was a bridesmaid), I got an awful rash on my chest from a medication I was on. Of course my dress was a sweetheart neckline :( Great timing, right?!! It wasn't going away as quickly as I would have liked so I bought this capelet in Navy the week of the wedding hoping and praying it would match the dress. It matched perfectly! It was like the capelet was made to go with this dress. I received so many compliments from people on my outfit...little did they know the capelet was an add on! Such a good buy and a great cost! It was sunny during the wedding (this is light weight so it didn't make me hot) and it was chillier as the evening came on so I was glad to have this! Would definitely purchase again!

This was the wifes third attempt at selecting the right match for our Sons forthcoming marriage, after red and burgundy proved unsuitable, however, spotted this and it's perfect ... Arrived at our UK doorstep via New York, in under 7 days which was impressive ... The quality far exceeds that of the previous two 'rejected' capes ... It's lovely and fabulous value. Hopefully, there'll be no further change of mind before the event in a few weeks.

I am changing this review as, although the cape was not as expected, I have received a full refund which includes the £6 postage sending it to the USA. Very pleased with customer service.

I brought this item as I wanted it in the colour silver, however when it had arrived I was surprised to see the colour is actually a dull grey, I’m very disappointed

Love love this chiffon shawl - perfect match for my dress - sits really well around the shoulders - no need to hold on to it - got lots of lovely compliments - will be ordering again
