Merrell Mens Hut Moc

They fit true to size for the usual Merrell shoe I wear. They are great for around the house when it is just a little too cool for just wearing socks. They don't have a regular flat insole in them and that feels a little different, but not in a bad way. I tend to forget I want to keep them as just house shoes and wear them outside on occasion, but it hasn't hurt them any. If the soles get a little dirty, they clean off real quick with a little scrubbing. Overall, I plan to keep a pair of them around for a while.

I'm a very conservative dresser. I was initially a little turned off by the way they looked in person, but once I put them on.....wholy cow....these are my go to around the house, running errands or road trips shoes. Light weight, durable ...almost feels like you are wearing no shoes. The looks have grown on me, I have gotten multiple compliments on them.

I ordered these while scrolling Amazon at a very slow open house. Was looking for something for walks to the bathrooms and showers for an upcoming RV trip. I ordered a size 9. I am a woman and didn't notice these were men's shoes. I intended to return them when they arrived but when I opened the box they looked so small I tried them on. Sure enough. They fit....well a tiny bit big but mostly fit. For a woman's 9 foot, a man's shoe should be a 7. I kept them. They suit the purpose and they fit.

I saw these in a store and wanted them badly, but they didn't have my size. Was able to order from Orvo/Amazon. Comfortable, practical house shoes. Merrell used a nice wide last suitable for wide feet like mine, many mocs and slippers are narrow. Cool starry night pattern.Not for extensive use outside. Somewhat insulated so not for hot weather. This is the original generation of this moc, there is a new version I haven't tried.

These are simply the best. They are perfect for running around. I have now purchased 4 pairs because I fear they will be discontinued. They are durable, and fit great. The arch support is much better than other brands like Sanuk, which i also like. If you need a flat shoes, like me, try these.

I have worn Merrell shoes for over 10 years, as they are one of the few brands that come in large sizes (14). I wanted a pair of shoes to wear indoors like a slipper but could wear outside for a quick trip. These seemed to foot the bill. They look great, are very lightweight and fit true to size for me. However, as noted by others, the sole is very slippery on wood floors. It is a synthetic material but not felt. On carpet they are fine. However, the deal killer for me was the ridiculous material used on the inside to secure the stitching. This material rubs on my heel and is very irritating. This could have easily been covered up with cloth during manufacturing. If you wear with socks, which I did not plan to do, it is acceptable but for bare-feet forget it. I don't think Merrell tests their shoes as they use to in the past. I have had several recent shoes from them that seem poor in quality compared to past products. I hope they redesign this shoe to correct these flaws. Sadly, I will return them.

Leaving a quick review just warn others, this is NOT a "fit as expected" shoe. Perhaps some manufacturing tolerances changed along the way, or I just got a mis-labeled pair(?). But I wear a 10.5-11, and a solid 11 in all other Merrell shoes (pretty much the only brand I buy). I tried these on and they're at least a full size too small. My toes crammed right against the front of the shoe immediately.The only other thing to mention is they came in a generic "frustration free" box (I've never found shoe boxes to be frustrating...). Perhaps the original box was damaged, but all of my Merrells come in actual Merrell boxes, so this makes me a little suspicious (especially here on Amazon).I'll likely swap them for a size 12, especially at this current price.
