I had a Wahl Lithium Ion Pro for at least 6 years. Around the second year or so the battery required a full charge before each use or it can stop midway through a cut. Then the power button started acting up the same year. I had to open it to re-solder the wires. Replacing the battery seemed easy but there seemed to be different versions of the 18650 battery. I finally decided to retire the Wahl and get a new hair clipper. The main reason I chose Hatteker was for the waterproof feature. Cleaning up the Wahl after a cut was time consuming. I was surprised at how well it cut without snagging my hair and how low the noise was. Even when the Wahl was brand new, there were some occasional snagging and it was considerably louder than the Hatteker. Although pulling the taper lever back seem to bring down the motor speed and cause some slight snagging it was never as bad as the Wahl (I rarely use the lever any way). Good price for all the additional features but I will definitely update whenever it requires me to perform some "maintenance". Another plus: The old guide combs from Wahl Lithium Ion Pro also fits the Hatteker. 7/30/2022 - I've been using this clipper for a year every 2 to 3 weeks and it's still working perfectly. The battery life is going strong and I've noticed no drop in performance. I stopped using the Wahl guide combs as I found out they were too tight and was the reason that the clipper can snag some hair when the taper lever was pulled back. After using the original guide combs the trims feel smoother. I've been using them in the shower and cleaning them while showering and noticed no rust. But I make sure to oil and let it dry before putting it away. 03/27/2024 - I still use these every 3 weeks or so and it still works perfectly. I think I only charged it 3 times a year never letting the battery drop below 60%. I did drop these once from sink height and there's a small chip on the body but no damage to the head. The gold colored plating seems to be coming off slightly. I feel that even if it dies tomorrow I already got my money's worth. 06/04/2024 - Everything still works great but I recently decided to open it up to clean it thoroughly. One of the threading for the screws on the body was slightly stripped and is a bit loose now. You don't really need to open the body portion anyway so avoid it if you can. No issue with the screws for the blade part of the clippers. 12/05/2025 - Still cuts my hair with no snags but when my hair grows out it comes out a bit fuzzy. Could be my hair or the clipper is losing it's sharpness. It was getting loud when operating so I opened up the blade section and saw that one of the metal springs came off the plastic guide (could have came off when I opened it) put it back together and it's less loud when using again. 12/07/2025 - I bought another one since I noticed there was condensation on the battery indicator window. I opened it once more to let it dry out but the one of the screws no longer stays in. Condensation is probably from the loose screws. Don't open the main body if you don't need to! New one is definitely quieter and has a matte feel to it.

I took a chance on these wireless hair clippers after my wired Conair clippers bit the dust. I was pleasantly surprised how well this performs. I've cut my hair twice so far and the battery hasn't dropped below 80%. Very quiet operation, compared to my old clippers that sounded like a WWII Bomber propeller in my ear and very sharp blade makes quick work out of something that took forever to accomplish. I recommend these.

Used to use a Wahl, but it died on us. So, we got this because it was cordless, and waterproof for easier cleaning. When I did his fade haircut, it looked a lot shorter than it ever has. I then looked at the sizes, and the mm are different on these sizes than previous ones I had. So if it makes sense, and number 1 would actually be a number 2 using these clippers. Other than that, works exactly how it should! Super easy to clean, it also came fully charged! It is also very light weight, and quiet!

I've had the clippers for 1 1/2 years now. Work just as good as the day I got them. I've only charged them 4 or 5 times that whole time and never because they were dead. They last forever! I cut my hair and beard every 2-3 weeks in the shower to give you an idea of usage. Lightweight, quiet and all the attachments fit great and work flawlessly. Also, there is no sign of rust or wear anywhere on them. Get yourself some clipper oil and your good to go!

I bought these trimmers to cut my hair and do my manscaping with In the shower. Let me tell you this Is the best trimmer I’ve ever used. I just used them to trim my dogs paw pads too. Worked amazing. I tested them on the lowest setting with no guard on my finger. Pressing really hard I couldn’t get it to cut me. My Wahl trimmer will in fact cut me, that’s why I never used it on my Dog. These came fully charged, I’ve ran them at least 20 minutes already and the nice lighted digital display still says 100% I normally don’t write reviews but this time I did it for an exceptional product. They are sturdy and well made with tons of attachments too. And oil & a comb. They are made to get wet, but I’ll keep them dry, I’ve found things that are made to get wet will not last as long as when you keep them dry.

I'm really enjoying this as well as it's badass look. It was nice to upgrade to a cordless machine. The numbers were much shorter than my old machine so i got a shorter cut than intended the first try but it worked great and seems to have decent battery life for what I'm using it for.

Took a star off only for the battery power dropping faster the lower it gets. Good clippers though.

I am so so happy for buying this ultimate wonder. Within a few minutes I was able to make a pro haircut to my toddler. Guiding comb set is a very nice set to help everyone use them easily. Cordless option is another top notch which I find so helpful to make a haircut outdoors so that house can be kept clean and neat.

Easily my best clippers I've purchased yet. They're waterproof and the battery lasts a REALLY long time. I lost the charging cable for this for about 3 months and still used it every couple of days. It still had 20% battery left! Insane. I thought to myself I'd just buy this again when the battery died because it's so quality. But luckily I found the cable and have been using this happily ever since.
