Helps
This isn't like a sleeping pill, you won't be put to sleep instantly. You will get to the point that you start unwinding without realizing it, and then you eventually start falling asleep more easily. It's loaded with exercises and such to help get your mind off the spin cycle and relaxed so you can finally get to sleep.

A Unique Way To Calm Ones Anxiety Involving Colorful Language
Periodically, I experience insomnia, and when I saw the F!*k I Can’t Sleep Insomniac Journal I figured it was definitively worth a try. As described by the author, Caitlin Peterson, “offering soothing profane prompts to help you let go of what is keeping you awake.” Each page offers the user a different way to unpack what bothers them and put their worries to bed. It ranges from writing to-do lists, drawing pictures to express thoughts or feelings, or listing what positives are in your life. The paper quality is very good and the different pens I used did not bleed through (albeit I will admit I did not use any marker-type pens). The profanity is sprinkled throughout the book and adds a cheerful color that at times made me laugh aloud. There are a variety of different exercises and each has a unique theme. There is very little duplication in exercises. The images included are encouraging and calming. The user can flip throughout the book and choose any entry to use. The first time I used the book was when I was wide awake at o’ dark thirty. I had woken up and I just couldn’t go back to sleep. I started writing in it and I continued writing. I found myself writing in it more than I had originally thought but eventually I found I did get back to sleep. I learned that if I wrote in it before I actually tried to go to sleep that it helped me calm some of my anxiety and when I went to sleep I actually stayed asleep. Thus, I have been using the book regularly before I have gone to bed and I think it has made a difference in calming my brain before falling asleep. I also like that it is isn’t just writing and that it encourages drawing and sketching. I enjoyed using the F!*K I Can’t Sleep Insomniac Journal and see myself using it to help me calm my anxiety.

Good read
I was attracted to this book from the title and it did not disappoint.I liked the helpful tip advising you to write down your frustrations before bed, in hope that it’ll help you get a good night’s sleep.‘Each page of this journal is a sweary sleep rescue with soothing-as-f*ck prompts to help you unload your thoughts and relax your racing mind.’ - don’t get me wrong - it didn’t put me straight to sleep, but it did help chill out a little by unwinding.

Nice Journal
I received a copy of this book through the Amazom Vine program in exchange for an honest review. This is a nice little journal.Full of sweary four letter words and prompts to help you sleep the journal focuses on relaxing and relieving anxiety. It's a small book so pages aren't standard notebook size and has cute drawings throughout. Prompts include things to leave behind, things you're proud of, recalling a time you felt content, and writing away things that stress you out. It's a cute little book that may help you sleep.

Cutesy Foul-Themed Journaling, When I Can't Sleep
F I Can't Sleep, An Insomniac's Journal to Put Your Worries to Bed by Caitlin Peterson is adorable in a silly self-help kind of way. In it, Peterson has created a cutesy workbook of sorts, walking users through bite-sized problem solving and mindfulness exercises so they can de-stress from the day. There are "hellish" to-do lists, things to decorate and celebrate from the last 24-hours, writing down your highs and lows from the day, marinate over the fabulous people and favorite dreams, light journaling, and more.I think this would make a cute gag gift for an over 40's birthday or a good-natured gift to a friend who may be struggling with stress and sleep. It won't necessarily solve all your problems, but the book is broken down into short wellness and positive, foul-themed affirmations.
