Not hard to install, but screen controls are not intuitive.
This camera works well for my intended use, I installed it on the rear of my 16 foot long utility/ recreational vehicle trailer as an aid to back it under a carport, through a gate, and into my backyard. I wired it into the reverse light circuit for the backup lights I installed on the trailer as well, it was not a difficult installation. This camera works very well to see where the trailer is pointed and how close to the fence I am directly in back of the trailer. It does not, however have a wide enough field of view to see all the way to the edges of the trailer. If I were able to mount it in a different location it may, but where I have it, it does not. This is a very good choice for the price, and as a wireless camera it works very well, with little to no lag time in the picture. Te picture quality is also excellent at this price point.

High quality rear view image
This camera works well and the rear view image is sharp and bright. It's definitely very useful when backing up and reversing into a parking space, for older cars that did not come with a rear view cam installed. The installation instructions are clear and installation is fairly easy. For me, I had to drill a hole next to the license plate to pull the camera cable inside the trunk and upto the tail light. I was initially a bit concerned with splicing the camera cable to the tail light, but it worked out well. The red wire should be spliced to the red cable of the tail light and the black wire to the black cable, using the t-taps provided. After that , the image needs to be adjusted to get the desired view. After the install, whenever the reverse gear is engaged, the camera is activated and the image shows up on the monitor.I recommend this product!

Great value for the price.
I installed this camera in my 2015 Chev Silverado with very little problem. The instruction manual is very straight forward. The picture quality is fantastic. I am using the camera for full time rear view rather than a back up camera. The initial test installation worked perfectly but when i installed it on the licence plate at the rear of the truck, I could not get it to work. It kept coming up "no signal found". After re-checking all my connections and fiddling around with it, I finally got it to work. It still comes up "no signal found" for a few seconds when you initially turn it on but then works great. Not sure why this happens but really it is not a problem.

Does the Job
I installed this camera in my 2009 Toyota Sienna three weeks ago. Install went well. What I did not notice prior to purchasing the camera was that the antenna sticks out of the back of the display. My intent was to use a couple of rubber wrist bracelets to hold the display in place on the back of my visor and just fold down the visor when I was backing up. But, the protruding antenna was a problem. So, I tried the camera and display without installing the antenna and it works just fine. It still easily picks up the reception from the camera at the rear of the vehicle. So, the display is nicely mounted on the back of my visor.Night vision is very clear and during daylight, the camera does not get any glare from the sun. There is also a decent range of vision. My only issue is with the camera mount on the license plate. I have tightened the tiny screws to hold the camera in place at the right angle but sometimes when I close the rear door the camera drops down a bit. So, every few days I have to readjust it. Larger screws would have been nice as these are tiny.In terms of wishlist items, I have just one. I do not like the coiled power cord. I would much rather have a non-coiled cord. This helps when mounting and installing it. I ran the cord through the pillar trim and although I was able to un-coil it, it made the install a bit harder. Not a big deal but I think that they should provide an uncoiled power cord.
