Brooks Divide 2

Brooks shoes are really great shoes... we own several pairs in our home and no complaints...great quality, comfortable, and stylish.

Runs true to size, and very comfortable

First of all, I bought these shoes in spite of what they look like. I felt like people at the trail race were staring at me when I got there because, in person, they look like bright white Michael-Jackson-in-Billie-Jean saddle shoes. White shoes in a muddy 10K trail race through creek crossings, but I digress. I love Brooks running shoes. I've had 3 pairs. I was going to give these 3 stars but the grip was excellent as it was really muddy and slick, and they were comfortable EXCEPT I started having a really uncomfortable rubbing feeling between my big toe and second toe before I even got to mile 2. I took off my shoes and...blister. I've never gotten a blister there before. I'm not sure if the toe box was too narrow or what. I wore them a couple of times walking pretty far before the race and they didn't bother me so I thought they'd be okay. It was pretty uncomfortable but fortunately the creek crossings seemed to calm it down or cool it or lubricate it or something; and it wasn't a terrible blister. It resolved within a couple of days, but I'll definitely be wearing a bandaid when I use them again since I would never return something after taking it out on a race. But that was only 6 miles. I felt like most trail runners go longer than that so I hope this doesn't happen to someone else in a more challenging circumstance. I feel like a shoe not giving you blisters is pretty important.

Shoes look good and fit as expected. Brooks offers a comfortable shoe. I think they are good for you whether walking, running, working, or watching TV.

Love the shoes. I have tried other shoes. So far I am a big fan of the BrooksHighly recommend

Brooks is a great quality shoe. I recommend them to my patients looking for a good, supportive walking shoe. The heel holds its shape, shoe bends at the toe box and has a firm arch in the sole. If you are flat footed as I am you will need an additional arch support insert.

Lousy sizing chart. Fit way too large.

War zuerst beim 1. kurzen anprobieren skeptisch, da sie sich iwie anfühlten wie Schuhe mit Absatz... Aber das täuscht. Habe hin und her überlegt ob sie zurück gehen und doch schließlich überlegt es einfach zu versuchen, wie sie sich beim Joggen so machen. Bin sehr positiv überrascht. Es fühlt sich wunderbar an mit ihnen zu laufen. Bin kein Profi Sportler, laufe aber so 15km die Woche; mal mehr mal weniger, also total ahnungslos würde ich jetzt auch nicht behaupten. Hatte sie jetzt dreimal für je 5 km an und kann sie absolut weiterempfehlen👍🏻

These were only my second pair of brooks, because generally I find them too expensive. I got these from amazon warehouse a lot cheaper than the 190 euro for a new pair! Has Covid affected the prices of hiking shoes and trainers? I think so. But these are comfortable trainers. I usually take a size 5. I bought these in a size 6, at a third of the price and I'm glad I did. They are smaller than expected but are a good fit. I'd buy again but not at 190 euro.
