I love this hand-held vacuum. I don't know why in the world I waited so long to get one. This Black and Decker battery-powered vac arrived all put together (except, of course, the part that attaches to the wall). I really needed a convenient vacuum that would let me easily clean the dirt and pebbles out of my car floors which get dirty fast. And boy does it make short order of cleaning there. I confess I have not had it but maybe a week, and I like to wait at least a few months before making judgment on an item, but I love this. Cleaning is already a pain so why should it be any more difficult? If you have small places, a car you have to park in the dirt, a pet that sheds and you need something light and reliable, this is your vacuum. I do have a shop vac that is really good and am happy with. But it has to be plugged in and hauling it around is a pain. I first ooked at this vacuum (made by a reliable company) but I was in a hurry. Then, just two weeks later I saw it again on good sale while looking for something else. No fear! I snatched it up. The vacuum does not come charged but doing that is easy. The charging cord is plugged into the vac, and the other end goes into an electrical outlet. The manual recommends charging at least 16 hours before using. The only downside is it comes with one filter, which can be washed. I am going to look for replacements just in case so I don't have to wash anything. I vacuumed my car and and the sandy car seat mats are clean. I also used my drill to put in the screws to the plastic piece to hang it in the laundry room. You do not have to do that, but why not? So glad to snatch this in a sale. It has a good ranking among battery-powered vacs. I hope you get a sale, too, makes the deal all the more sweeter. Great Vacuum! Wish the filter wasnt so close to the mouth of the tube because sometimes stuff gets jammed but its super easy to clean and fix. I use it to clean my guinea pigs cage and it works really well! Suction is great and it's not insanely loud 👍. Not heavy, battery is decent, takes a few hours to fully charge, and is very easy to assemble.

I didn't know I needed one until I saw my sister using hers. I have hung it on the wall near the kitchen so I can grab it quickly. It is very easy to use. I thought it might be awkward to use because of its shape but it sure isn't. The suction is great and the filter works well. So happy to not have to drag out the vacuum. I would recommend this as a great cordless handheld vacuum.

I had this thing for 3 years before it stopped holding charge. It is pretty powerful compared to some of the other cheap stand-up vacuums. It was very good for what I used it for. Which was cleaning up the couch, quick animal hair cleanup on stairs and corners, every other day cleanup of my chinchilla cage. Honestly I am back here to possibly buying again. But the price is high. About $10 more than it was in 2022

Well constructed hand held vacuum. Surprisingly powerful suction for a relatively inexpensive device. Easy to use, easy to charge, easy to empty. What else would you need!

This vacuum worked excellently for cleaning sand, dirt and dog hair from my SUV. It has almost as strong power as my home vacuum. The photo shows where i cleaned and where i didn't. It works great. Until it doesn't. And therein lies its extremely annoying - and largely inexcusable - shortcoming. It has NO power indicator light. No light to warn of a depleting battery and no light to indicate if it is charging or that the charging is complete. I felt that the great performance many reviews praised would certainly overcome that shortfall. I was wrong. That a highly regarded company like Black & Decker would sell such a product, without this very basic light, which likely would cost it pennies, including the build process, says as much about the company as the product. Bottom line is, regardless of how wonderful the vacuum may work, without the ability to know the state of its battery and when it is fully charged, enters a wholly unnecessary concern and frustration into the use of an otherwise very good product making it untrustworthy. And it doesn't help that it does not stay fully charged if not used for a little while. Bottom line is I don't keep this in or near the vehicle, which is the place I intended to use it, because I cannot trust it will have the power to do its job. Come on B&D! I'm sure many would be willing to pay the 50 cents more to make this otherwise great vacuum useful. This seemingly minor "oversight" had me contemplating giving the product 3, or even 2, stars. But, if you think the light is unimportant and want very good power, I recommend this item. But, be warned: I thought the absence of the power/charging light was no big deal. It is.

I absolutely love these handheld vacuums — I’ve bought 4 over the past 10 years, and they’ve been a lifesaver with kids around. Lightweight, easy to use, and great for quick cleanups, especially in tight spaces or cars. It’s one of those household tools I always keep close by. That said, the battery charging is the one drawback. You cannot leave it plugged in — if you forget and leave it on the charger, the battery will end up cooked by the next use. It really needs a smart battery or auto shutoff to prevent overcharging. Still a super useful and well-designed product overall. If they fix the battery issue, it’d be a perfect 5-star item.
