So glad to find this. My new Portable washing machine came with a poor quality adapter. I had no idea what i needed by name just by look. I took a chance sence the add doesnt show the nipple part of the adaptet and it was perfect. Im uploading a few photos so others know exactly what it is if they dont unnderstand plumbing lingo. Also works for hooking a garden hose to a kitchen sink!

Great! Used for portable washer hookup to bathroom sink.
This is very good quality coupling from what I can tell. Incredibly easy to install.Lost the hose with attachment for my portable washer, used a regular washer hose and added this to the my chosen faucet (worked on both bathroom aerator and kitchen) and voila, much heavier duty than the one that came with the washer originally. Also much more esthetically pleasing than the other too as the faucet looks almost normal when the hose with “female” coupling is snapped off for using the faucet only. Without the aerator the sink does obviously flow differently but very minor problem overall for how simple this makes detaching and hooking up washer for use.

The part doesn't fit....
Hi there,I bought the Danco 10521 Snap Coupling, Brass with a washer machine on Jan 8 2021.Everything could be fine if the thread of this part was not different.The thing is that there is disparity between the hose thread and the snap coupling one.Question. What can I do to exchange it?With respect Konstantine

I am using this for my dishwasher rather then the adapter that came with it. This will not pip off and does not leak even when moved twisted or bumped. I feel safe leaving the house with the dishwasher on now. Before you dare not leave or return to a soaked kitchen.
