Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape Combo, Black and White

I got this because our garden hose has a tear in it and was spraying water everywhere. I waited for the hose to dry, cleaned it with rubbing alcohol, then applied this patch tape. I held it for a few minutes to ensure a tight seal and left it for 24 hours. When I turned on the hose the next day, water was still leaking. After a week, the tape was torn through and water was still spraying everywhere. I would return this if I could. I was better off buying a new hose for this price.

This is my second purchase as I have previously used this for leaking roof dome on rv. I cleaned up old caulking using wire brush on drill. This stuff is very sticky so watch your fingers. It is supposed to be a temporary fix but so far it has held out through two summers with some heavy rains and one frigid winter with lots of snow although corners seem to now be letting go. Upon next use, I will cut rounded corners. I only gave 4 stars on "Value for Money" as it is a little pricy for only 10' lengths which had been just enough to cover parameter of doom.

I’ve used it on a seam between an adder room and a trailer to stop leak and to repair a rip in a floating mat that kids play on.
