these are the perfect replacement for the burned out lights in my 25 year old truck radio. it takes a bit of skill to install but don't be afraid if you have some soldering experience with electronic parts

You have to unsolder the old ones. Get a solder sucker.Pretty sketchy process to solder 9 lights in the device but it worked! Replacement lights look different because they don't have a black holder around them, but the radio works great and looks stock from the outside now that its done.Replaced the burnt out lights on my 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup radio.Update- I've had a pretty bad battery drain from my dashboard guage cluster. I dont think it's from this but it could be. Not the product but I suspect my soldering may have shorted some electrical? Anyone else have any issues after installing?
