Fine except when trying to pull a full bag of rubbish out...
... the whole purpose of a garbage bin is to keep the refuse in one place (inside the bag). Not have it come pouring out all over the kitchen floor because of lazy design and / or manufacture. You can see the plastic spur sticking out clearly in this image. Perfectly placed to tear garbage bags open when trying to remove them from the bin itself. You can also see what it does to the bags in the next image.Completely pointless and 100% counterproductive to the point of the product. Can't send it back now as it's been used.

Not worth it.
It's a nice bin that fits in to tight corners. However, the lid is just terrible. Every time you use the bin, the lid falls off. Very annoying 😡 and makes you wonder why such a product is valuiat such price. You probably can get better items if you looked around a bit more.Would I recommend this? NO. AVOID.NB: I didn't do a return as it would have have cost me £16UPDATE: So the hinge broke after a few 'usage'. Certainly don't buy this product.

Decent bin; minor problem
Biggest problem with the bin:There's a slight gap between the interior of the bin and the casing for the pedal mechanism at the bottom of the bin. If something falls down and gets caught there, it can be a real pain trying to get it out, requiring something thin. There's no way - that I can see - to take this off to clean it properly. This would have been really easy to prevent by having the top of the mechanism-housing connect to the sides of the bin. It wouldn't reduce the bin capacity in the slightest (and would probably make it cheaper, easier to manufacture, and slightly less wasteful of plastic). There are other minor issues with the bin, of course; the flap that is meant to hold the bin bag is a little weedy - just a thin strip of plastic that holds the bag in place. Often it's just as easy and much faster to avoid using it. This does mean that there's a slightly less appealing overhang of the bag outside of the bin, but I can live with that personally.Beyond that, it's a servicable bin. A largeish container that you can put a bag in. I might prefer a slightly bigger one, but that's not really the products fault.

Flimsy for the price
Fits perfectly where I wanted it amd looks good.It fell to bits when I first got it out the box, had to fiddle for about 10 mins rebuilding it, it's not very sturdy at all. Also we have a laminate floor and there's no rubber feet or anything to stop it from sliding all over the place, just some simple rubber fleet would stop this, again for the money should be already on the product. For the money I'd expect a better build quality, I think you'd be better to look else where for your bin.

Stylish, slim but good capacity.
This bin looks stylish and fits well into narrow spaces. It has a capacity of 40 litres and is slim but tall. It looks like brushed stainless steel and repels fingerprints. It is actually a plastic construction though which enables easy cleaning. So far my husband hasn't realized it isn't metal. It has a foot pedal but you can also lift the lid manually using a lip on the lid. It doesn't have an inner container but the bottom is solid and it has a plastic inner ring at the top to hold bin liners firmly in place. So far I haven't had the bag fall through or split when being removed so I am very happy. To clean it just needs wiping with a damp cloth. It is sturdy and my cat has sat on the lid without it bending or breaking although I am discouraging this especially as she grows larger and heavier. The best recommendation is that my husband likes it - usually new things are never as good as the old ones - but this has his firm seal of approval.
