Chapin 6-8135 Xtreme Dripless Shut-Off

I won't give this a star rating yet because my order is not complete. The wand looks sturdy enough but they only sent a barbed fitting for a 3/8" diam. hose. I'm using it on a tank that uses a 1/4" diam. hose. They might have included a plastic nozzle tip, I'm not sure because I only received the locking nut. The package was damaged & looks like the rest fell out. It's my fault I didn't catch that the nozzle was sold separately, but come on, they even include batteries these days. I don't even mind the added cost of the brass nozzle. Now I sit here waiting for it to come before I can get my work done. Don't forget the internal threads on the wand are 1/8" FNPT (female nat. pipe thread). It helps to get the correct barbed fittings.I'm giving it 4 stars now because it's all in now & working. I hope they include a nozzle & an option for suction barb fitting. It's so nice to receive a complete & usable product. Oh yes, the seller reached out to me & were interested in helping, which is always a good sign. Thanks

This is the 2nd I've purchased and this one no longer completely shuts off after 3 uses. Flow continues at a reduced rate after releasing the trigger. Rapidly cycling the trigger multiple times usually stops flow, but occasionally flow can only be stopped by closing an upstream valve. This defect has caused several desirable plant kills when spraying herbicide in landscaped areas. Defect first arose after the return period closed. Since the 1st one I bought still operates fine after a couple of years I assume it's a quality problem but only having a sample size of 2, who knows.

Works as expected except drips

This replaced a sprayer that I inadvertently left with liquid last winter, oops. The new wand will be drained for sure this year, oh ya, the new one works perfecty. Highly recommendedSteve G

Exact replacement for the one that came with our Chapin tow-behind sprayer.....made the mistake of not draining ours last fall and the wand was split after freezing. This replaced it perfectly and functions as new.

I own a hvac bussiness and ordered this to replace my favorite wand I can't find anymore. I use them to clean coils with an acidic cleaner and so far it is fantastic. I've only used it a dozen times now but is nice. We'll see if it holds up as well as others I've used.

bought chapin 25 gl. sprayer 2016 with boom. 2nd. year pistol grip hand sprayer tube on next to nozzle tip split in two places. bought 2 new pistol grip replacements $60.00 apiece. they both split same place. using round up with water. sprayer preforms ok- but hand held wands -sorry is a generous description.

this is exactly what I was looking for works beautifully.

Ordered this product for the 2nd time because the spray nozzle on the first order was missing. Now the spray nozzle is also missing from the 2nd order even though it is on the picture along with the other attachments.. Had to go to another company and pay extra for a spray nozzle that was supposed to be included with my order. Not happy.
