I read What to Expect When You're Expecting when I was pregnant, and it was an invaluable resource throughout my entire pregnancy. The book covers everything from the early days to delivery, and it’s filled with helpful advice, tips, and reassurance.Now that my daughter is expecting, I bought a newer version for her, and she’s been loving it just as much as I did. It’s comforting to have such a trusted guide during such an exciting (and sometimes overwhelming) time. Highly recommend it to any expecting parent!

Wish I could give more than 5 star if I could.Bought this book for myself as first time mom. I'd say this book does help ease on my mind and learn a lot of information and some medical words that I may not know. And it also helped me to be bit prepare at every visit for my OB prenatal check up. It is very long but that is okay the book is trying to write in simple English language in way easy level for person who isn't big fan of reader/bookworm it is very straight forward and clearly as needed, plus author has a humor in there too lol's. Id say great for baby shower or gift to mom when she find out she is having babyOn the last I will be warning at two last chapter of book They do give you head up to be prepare about the complex in issues like pregnancy loss/ managing complications Nobody want to read that part but Understandably to learn something new about it, myself as I was like brush off and thought I would handle it to try read whole book as I can (I did) but at last chapter I tear up a bit. (thats my problem but its okay)

This book helped me when I was a new mom. It has amazing information

This is the go-to book for pregnant moms showing you clearly how the baby develops and how your body changes month by month. I recommend buying this if you are trying to get pregnant with your first child. You don't know you are pregnant right away so you'll have this on hand when you find out you are. May daughter and her husband had fertility issues also. A nice nurse recommended the book, It Starts with an Egg to provide information on that issue.
