4 years of use wearing them 10 hours a day 6 days a week. I put them on in the morning befor I leave the house and take them off at night. These are the best knee pads on the market iv tried most of them and these are very comfortable Tips : the little nobs that hold the straps will break off around 6 months to a year if u are wearing them all day. Just use some 1inch eyelet screws as seen in the picture they work great Tip: when the padding go's flat just use some quality carpet underlay padding and cut a little sqare and super glue it on. It will last years and never go flat. The tops will start to break off after 4 years but iv bought another pair but I'm stuff wearing the old ones because they are still so comfortable. Only use the bottom strap to hold them on your legs and you will forget they are there.

I had a pair of knee pads that have cloth straps and the straps have gotten so twisted and rolled that it makes it difficult to adjust them. A co-worker of mine let me try his CLC knee pads and I couldn't believe how nice they were so I ordered myself a pair! I like the rubber straps because they stay flat and are a breeze to adjust. The knee pads themselves are very comfortable and I forget that I have them on. I never would have picked these out because they look so plastic like, but that shell is actually quite soft and rubbery. That is a good thing because quite often I am working on a finished floor. My co-worker and I have found that they feel and work the best by just using the bottom strap. When I use the top strap it seems to ride right at the bend in my leg. I work as a trim carpenter and install a lot of baseboard. I didn't used to need knee pads, but now at my age they are quite nice to wear.

I had another pair of these that lasted over 20 years. I did not use them every day, but they got a lot of hard use over those years. The new pair is made from the same quality materials and fits as well as the old ones did. HIghly recommended.
